Özet
IV ÖZET Türkiye Cumhuriyeti Tarihi, oluşum sürecindeki gelişmelerin yoğunluğu dolayısıyla çok girifttir. Çok geniş bir coğrafyada hüküm süren bir dünya devletinin ardından gelen sancılı bir dönemin tarihidir. Bu tezin konusu, Türkiye Cumhuriyeti tarihinin işte böyle yoğun bir döneminin çok partili rejime geçiş sürecidir. Çalışmada bu dönemin şartlan ve idarecileri, bu dönüşümdeki rolleri açısından irdelendi. Birinci bölümde; çok partili rejimden önce Türkiye'yi 23 sene yöneten Parti ve üyelerinin böyle bir reform fikrine sahip olup olmadıkları, çok partili rejim öncesi ve sonrası tavırları dikkate alınarak yorumlanmaya çalışıldı. İkinci bölümde çok partili rejimin oluştuğu dönemde, ülkenin içinde bulunduğu ortam ele alındı. Üçüncü bölümde söz konusu değişikliği gerektiren dış şartlar değerlendirildi. Son bölümde çok partili rejimin ortaya çıkışının genel bir değerlendirmesi yapıldı. Bu çalışmanın hazırlanmasında, dönemin ileri gelenlerin hatıratı, Meclis Tutanakları, araştırmacılara açılan devletler arası yazışmalar ve dönemin gazete ve dergileri kullanıldı. Tabii ki, incelediğimiz dönem ve konu üzerine yazılmış inceleme ve araştırmalar da değerlendirildi. Kuşkusuz bu çalışma eksiksiz değildir ve ortaya çıkacak olan yeni belge ve bilgilerle çalışmada ileri sürülen bazı görüşler yeniden değerlendirilebilir. ABSTRACT History of Turkish Republic is fairly complicated due to the intensity of the vicissitudes and developments taking places in the period it has emerged and completed its establishment. A period in which a world power is sunk into the depth of history and a young state enters the arena of history with various internal and external pains and troubles. The subject of this thesis is thus such intense period of history of Turkish Republic culminating in the very process of transition to the multi-party regime. In this study the conditions making of the concerned period and roles of the politicians in this transformation are analysed. In the first chapter it was discussed whether the party and its managers, who have run the country for 23 years before the multi-party regime, have actually had an idea of such a reform focusing on their attitudes and actions before and after the transition. In the second chapter the situation of the country during the transition period is studied. In the third part on the other hand external reasons contributing to the realisation of such a political change is treated. And in the last part the study deals with the emergence of multirparty regime in general terms. While examining the subject of this thesis, the memories of those who have lived through the period are carefully considered. The parliament records and some international correspondences concerning with the period later opened the researcher are utilised and the newspapers and magazines of the period were all scanned.VI No doubt, this study is not without some deficiencies. Some new documents and information, which may appear later on, may require some modifications in this thesis.
