Özet
Bu çalışma Gaziantep Üniversitesi Yabancı Diller Bölümü Hazırlık Sınıfı öğrencileri üzerinde yapılmıştır ve öğrencilerin öğrenme stratejilerini kullanmaları ve bunların başarılarına olan etkileri arasındaki ilişkiyi araştırmayı amaçlamaktadır. Araştırmanın başında 161 öğrenciye 26 sorudan oluşan bir anket verilmiştir. Denek olarak 50 Hazırlık Bölümü öğrencisi alınmıştır ve bunlara çalışmanın başında bir ön-test, bitiminde de bir son-test verilmiştir. Bu çalışmanın sonucunda öğrenme stratejilerinin öğretilmesiyle öğrencilerin başarıları arasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir ilişki elde edilmiştir.

This study which has been carried out at the preparatory section of the University of Gaziantep is an attempt to investigate the relationship between teaching learning strategies to students and their effect in students' success afterwards. A questionnaire of 26 items was administered to 161 students at the beginning. Later on, 50 students who were given a pre-test at the beginning and a post-test at the end of the study were instructed for forty hours towards the end of the second term of the academic year 1997-1998. The t-test was conducted to research the relationship between the effect of the teaching of learning strategies and students' success. A statistically significant relationship was found.
