Özet
ÖZET Çağımızda gelişmiş veya gelişmekte olan ülkeler için eğitim sisteminde kaliteli öğretmenin değeri bilinen bir gerçektir. Kaliteli öğretmenin yetiştirilmeside kaliteli öğretmen yetiştiren kurumların var olmasıyla mümkündür. Öğretmen yetiştirme sistemimizde; öğ retmenler, Eğitim Fakülteleri'nin yanında diğer fakültelerde öğre nim gören bireylerin öğretmenlik meslek bilgisi sertifika programla rına katılmaları ile yetiştirilmektedir. Araştırmanın amacı, Eğitim Fakültesi mezunu olmayan fakül te mezunlarının, öğretmen olabilmeleri için öğretmenlik meslek bil gisinin kazandırıldığı, Gazi Eğitim Fakültesi Öğretmenlik Meslek Bilgisi Sertifika Programının genel bir değerlendirmesinin yapılma sıdır. Araştırma dört bölümden oluşmaktadır. Birinci bölümde, ele alman konu ile ilgili genel bilgiler, ikinci bölümde araştırmada izle nen sistematik bulunmaktadır. Üçüncü bölümde öğretmen adayla rı ve öğretim elemanları ile ilgili bulgular, dördüncü ve son bölüm de ise, sonuç ve öneriler yer almaktadır. Araştırmada iki ayrı evren tespit edilmiş ve her bir evrene uy gulanmak üzere anket geliştirilmiştir. Anketlerin birinci kısmı her iki evren için ayrı ayrı düzenlenmiş; diğer kısımları aynı sorulardan oluşmuştur. Araştırmanın birinci evrenini, Gazi Üniversitesi, Gazi iEğitim Fakültesinde yürütülen öğretmenlik meslek bilgisi sertifika programına katılan öğretmen adayları ve ikinci evrenini, program da görev alan öğretim elemanları oluşturmuştur. Anket yoluyla elde edilen verilerin çözümlenmesinde frekans ve yüzde tabloları oluşturulmuştur. Grupların yaptığı değerlendirmelerin aritmetik ortalamaları arasındaki farkın manidarlığının test edilmesinde Z testi uygulanmıştır. Gruplardan anket yolu ile elde edilen bilgiler ve çıkartılan sonuçlar doğrultusunda öğretmenlik meslek bilgisi sertifika programlarının niteliğinin yükseltilmesine ilişkin öneriler geliştirilmiştir. ii

ABSTRACT The value of qualified teachers in the education system for developed and developing countries in our century is a fact. Training qualified teachers is only possible with the existence of associations which train qualified teachers. In our training system, teachers are trained both in Faculties of Education and in Teaching Certificate Programs for graduates of faculties other than the Faculty of Education. The objective of this research is to make a general evaluation of these certificate programs in which teaching professional knowledge is taught to the individuals who want to be teachers but who are not graduates of Education Faculty. The report consists of four chapters. In the first chapter the problem was defined and related information was given. In the second chapter the method was described. In the third one, the findings about the student teachers and the teaching staff; and in the last one, summaries, results and recommendations were presented. In this research, two different groups were selected and two different types of questionaires were developed with respect to these groups in order to collect data. The first parts of these questionaires were developed separately, but the remaining parts iiiwere consisted of same questiones. The first group of the research included student teachers from the Teaching Certificate Programs in Gazi University, Gazi Faculty of Education. The second group was formed by teaching staff in the same program. In analysis of the data gathered by survey, descriptive statistical techniques were used and the frequency and percentage tables for data were formed. Z-test was used to determine whether there was a significant difference between means at evaluations of the groups. In the direction of the results attained on the data collected questionaires, recommendations were developed to improve the quality of Teaching Certificate Programs. iv
