Özet
Bu tez çalışması, Kant'ın, Kant-öncesi geleneksel metafiziğe karşı aklın meşru bilgi üretimindeki sınırlarını çizen kendi eleştirel metafiziğini nasıl temellendirdiğini ve eleştirel bir“özne anlayışının”inşası için geleneksel özne anlayışında bir devrim gerçekleştirme yolunda hangi yeni epistemolojik koşulları öne sürdüğünü irdelemeyi amaçlamaktadır. Bu amaç doğrultusunda, Kant felsefesinde özne kavramının daha önceki geleneksel özne anlayışlarından epistemolojik bakımdan nasıl ayrıldığı ve Kant'ın geleneksel metafiziği eleştirmesinde kendi geliştirdiği yeni özne anlayışının ne denli kilit bir rol oynadığı ele alınacaktır. Kant'ın yeni bir metafizik inşa etmek amacıyla geliştirdiği sistem, felsefeyi bilimler ve deneyim dünyası ile uyumlu bir zemine oturtmayı amaçlamakta ve bu amaca ulaşmanın bir yöntemi olarak, teorik aklın geleneksel metafizikteki spekülatif kullanımını sınırlandırmayı benimsemektedir. Bu bağlamda, bu çalışma, Kant'ın geleneksel metafizikle mücadele ederken yeni bir metafizik inşa etme çabasının ancak ve ancak özne anlayışında ortaya çıkan Kantçı bir devrim olarak yorumlandığında sağlıklı olarak anlaşılabileceğini ve bu devrimle birlikte inşa edilen yeni özne anlayışının öznellik ile nesnellik arasındaki geleneksel Kartezyen karşıtlığı da dönüştürmek yoluyla Kant'ın öne sürdüğü eleştirel metafiziği olanaklı kıldığını öne sürmektedir: Dolayısıyla, tez, Kant felsefesindeki teorik aklın doğasını incelemekte ve öznenin, dış dünyaya dair nesnel yargılarda nasıl bulunduğu sorusunu merkeze alırken, saf aklın bu yeni öznenin devrimci inşası sürecinde temellenecek biçimde tesis edilme ve işleme biçiminin ayrıntılı bir betimlemesini sunmaktadır.

This study aims to examine in detail how Kant grounds his own critical metaphysics against the pre-Kantian traditional metaphysics by drawing the limits in the production of legitimate knowledge and what epistemological conditions he proposes for the construction of a critical“conception of subject”. In the context of this aim, it will be discussed how the concept of subject in Kant's philosophy differs epistemologically from previous conceptions of subject and what kind of a crucial role this new conception in Kant's critique of traditional metaphysics plays. The system that Kant developed in order to construct a new metaphysics aims to put philosophy on a new ground that is compatible with science as well as the empirical world of experience. As a method to achieve this, Kantian philosophy employs the methodology of limiting the illegimate speculative use of theoretical reason in traditional metaphysics. In this context, this study will show that Kant's effort to construct a new metaphysics while struggling with traditional metaphysics can be clearly understood only if it is interpreted as a Kantian revolution in the conception of subjectivity. It will be argued that this new conception of subject and subjectivity enables Kant's critical metaphysics to transform the traditional Cartesian opposition between subjectivity and objectivity. Consequently, this thesis examines the nature of theoretical reason in Kant's philosophy and presents a detailed description of the way how pure reason is constituted as well as the way it functions within its own limits such that its constitution and function are grounded in the revolutionary construction process of the Kantian subject while focusing on the question of how the Kantian subject makes objective judgments about the external world.
