Özet
Bu tezin amacı, Sokrates ve Friedrich Wilhelm Nietzsche'nin felsefe yapma yöntemleri ve filozofun kimliğine dair düşüncelerini araştırmak ve bu düşünceleri aracılığıyla felsefi düşünme biçiminin değişimine katkıda bulunduklarını göstermektir. Sokrates ve Nietzsche üzerine araştırmalar genellikle onların felsefelerine odaklanır. Onlar hakkındaki genel bakış, sadece ahlak üzerine düşünceler geliştirdikleri ve somut anlamda felsefe yapmanın dışında kaldıkları yönündedir. Ancak bu doğru bir bakış açısı değildir. Bu araştırmanın konusu, onların ahlak üzerine düşünceleri veya felsefeleri değildir. Bu araştırmanın konusu, metafelsefe alanında Sokrates ve Nietzsche'nin felsefenin yöntemi açısından konumlarını belirlemektir. Metafelsefe, felsefe üzerine felsefi düşünceler üreten bir alandır. Felsefenin kendisini, sorularını, yöntemlerini, vb. üzerine tartışır. Ayrıca metafelsefe filozofun kim olduğu veya kimin felsefe yaptığını sorgular. Filozofun kendisiyle ilgili düşünceleri üreten filozofa da metafilozof adı verilebilir. Bu minvalde, bu araştırmanın konusu aynı zamanda birer metafilozof olarak Sokrates ve Nietzsche'nin filozofun kimliğine yani filozofun kim olduğu üzerine konumlarını belirlemektir. Tezin yöntemi, Sokrates'i içeren metinleri ve Nietzsche'nin metinlerini incelemek için kullanılan hermeneutik metin çözümleme yöntemidir. Ayrıca bazı noktalarda fenomenolojik yöntem kullanılmaktadır.

This doctoral thesis investigates the thoughts of Socrates and Friedrich Wilhelm Nietzsche on the methods of philosophizing and the identity of the philosopher, and it shows their contribution to the change of the way of philosophical thinking through these thoughts. The previous research on Socrates and Nietzsche usually focuses on their philosophies. The general view about them is that they only develop thoughts on morality and fall outside philosophizing in the concrete sense. However this is not the correct point of view. The subject of this research is not their thoughts or philosophies on morality. The subject of this research is to determine the positions of Socrates and Nietzsche with respect to the method of philosophy in the field of metaphilosophy. Metaphilosophy is a field that produces philosophical thoughts on philosophy. It discusses philosophy itself, its questions, its methods, etc. In addition, it questions who the philosopher is or how philosophy is produced by the philosopher. The philosopher who produces thoughts about philosophers can also be called a metaphilosopher. In this manner, the subject of this research is also to determine the positions of Socrates and Nietzsche as metaphilosophers on the identity of the philosopher, i.e. who the philosopher is. In the thesis, the hermeneutic text analysis method is adopted in order to examine the texts containing Socrates and Nietzsche's own texts. In addition, phenomenological method is used at some points.
