Özet
108 ÖZET İslam düşüncesi iki temel esasa dayanır; Kur' an ve Sünnet. İslam medeniyetinin gelişmesi ve diğer milletlerle karşılaşması sonucu bir gelişme gösterdi. Biz, Türklerin İslam'ı kabulleriyle birlikte, onların İslam düşüncesine bir çok katkılarda bulunduklarını görüyoruz. Türkler, Farabi, İbn Sina ve bir çok filozof ve mütefekkiri yetiştirmenin ötesinde birçoklarını da himaye ettiler. Böylece biz, Türklerin, İslam düşüncesinde önemli bir yer teşkil ettiğini görmekteyiz. Osmanlı Devletinin son dönemlerinde Batıyla olan ilişkilerin artmasıyla birlikte felsefenin yeniden yükselişi söz konusu olmuştur. Bu çalışmamızda, son dönemin büyük felsefecilerinden olan Rıza Tevfik Bölükbaşı ve onun felsefi fikirlerini inceledik. Zira Rıza Tevfik, Batıdan felsefi fikirlerin girmeye başladığı sıralarda Osmanlı mekteplerinde felsefeyi ders olarak okutan ilk şahıstır. Bu da ele aldığımız mevzunun önemini göstermektedir.

109 SUMMARY Islamic thinking is based on two principles: Koran and Sunnah. There has excisted a progress soon after the development of Islamic civilization. We witness many contributions of Turks with their conversion into Islam in the historical background of Islamic thought. Far beyond a tradition of bringing up of many philosophers and thinkers like Farabi and Ibn Sina, Turks paid homage to many others. For that reason we have seen Turks to play a very central role in the process of Islamic thinking. However, there also seemed to excist an undermining of philosophy in Islamic world after a certain period. With an increase of good relationships with the eastern and the western world in the last periods of Ottoman Empire, a culmination in the realm philosophy came to the scene. In this study, we have analysed the philosophic ideas of Rıza Tevfik BöTükbaşı together with his biography, due to the fact that he is one of the great philosophers of the last period. This philosopher is the first person to teach philosophy in the Ottoman schools. This shows the importance of the subject we handled in our study.
