Özet
Topluma ve insana dair kendine özgü düşünceleri olan İbn-i Haldun Tunus'ta dünyaya gelmiş, ilim ve siyaset yolunda birçok şehir gezmiştir. Bu şehirleri gezerken yapmış olduğu gözlemler“asabiyet teorisi, umran ilmi, bedevi ve hazeri toplum”gibi kavramlar çerçevesinde toplumu izah etmeye yönlendirmiştir. İbn-i Haldun'un topluma dair yapmış olduğu birçok tespit sosyolojinin kapsamına girmektedir. Bu bağlamda yapılan çalışmada İbn-i Haldun'un düşünceleri çerçevesinde asabiyet teorisi, bedevi-hazeri tolum, devlet, coğrafya, iktisat gibi konuları ele alınarak İbn-i Haldun, sosyoloji bağlamında değerlendirilmiştir. Bu çalışma iki bölümden oluşmaktadır. Birinci bölümde; İbn-i Haldun'un hayatı, eserleri genel hatlarıyla incelenmiş, kavramsal olarak asabiyet, devlet, tarih, coğrafya gibi kavramlar ele alınmış, umran bilimi ele alınarak ve yedi iklim teorisi incelenmiştir. İkinci bölümde ise İbn-i Haldun ve sosyolojik yaklaşımı ele alınarak, iş bölümü, dayanışma, tarih, devlet ve iktisat ile ilgili tespitleri incelenmiştir. Yapılan çalışmada temel kaynak olarak İbn-i Haldun'un ünlü eseri Mukaddime kullanılmış, aynı zamanda İbn-i Haldun ile ilgili farklı kaynaklardan da yararlanılmıştır.

Ibn Khaldun, who has his own ideas about society and human, was born in Tunisia and travelled many cities on the path of science and politics. The observations he made while traveling through these cities led him to explain the society within the framework of concepts such as“asabiyyah, umran science, bedouin and khazeri Society”. Many of Ibn Khaldun's observations about society fall within the scope of sociology. In this study, Ibn Khaldun was evaluated in the context of sociology by considering topics such as asabiyyah theory, Bedouin and khazeri society, state, geography and economics within the framework of Ibn Khaldun's thoughts. This study consists of two sections. In the first section; the life and works of Ibn Khaldun are discussed generally, terms such as Asabiyyah, state, history and geography are discussed conceptually, the science of umran is discussed and seven climatic theories are examined. In the second section; Ibn Khaldun's findings about division of labor, solidarity, history, state and economics are examined considering Ibn Khaldun and his sociological approach. Ibn Khaldun's famous work Mukaddime was used as the main source for the study, but also different sources related to Ibn Khaldun were used.
