Özet
Bu çalışma, bir özel hastanede çalışan sağlık personelinin afete müdahale bilgi düzeylerinin belirlemek amacıyla metadolojik, kesitsel ve tanımlayıcı olarak yapılmıştır. Araştırmanın evrenini, İstanbul ilinde 3 özel hastanede görev yapan 505 sağlık personeli, örneklemini çalışmayı kabul eden 270 kişi oluşturmuştur. Veriler Şubat-Nisan 2018 tarihleri arasında, araştırmacı tarafından hazırlanan anket formu ile uygulanmıştır. Verilerin analizinde, yüzde, ortalama, Mann Whitney U testi, Kruskal Wallis testi kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın uygulanabilmesi için Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart Üniversitesi Sosyal Bilimler Etik Kurulundan ve özel hastanelerden kurum izni alınmıştır. Çalışmada katılımcıların çoğu hemşire ve sağlık teknikeri; çoğunlukla, 29-34 yaş grubunda, bekar ve lise mezunu, 2-5 yıl çalışma yılına sahiptir. Araştırmada sağlık personelinin afete müdahale bilgi düzeylerinin orta düzeyde olduğu saptanmıştır. Afet müdahale bilgi düzeyleri ile katılımcıların toplam çalışma yılı, afet eğitimi ihtiyacı olanlar, afet triaj eğitimi ve tahliye eğitimi alanlar, deprem tatbikatına katılanlar, afete maruz kalanlar, çevresinde kimyasal, radyoaktif, terör ve yangın riski olduğunu düşünenler arasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı fark bulunmuştur. Çalışanların çoğu Hastane Afet Planını (HAP), bilmekte ancak üçte biri buradaki görevini bilmemektedir. Katılımcıların çoğunluğu yapılan tatbikatların uzman kişiler tarafından organize edildiği ve kurum tarafından ciddiyetle yönetildiği ve haberli tatbikatların verimli olduğu düşüncesindedir. Sağlık çalışanları acil durum kodlarından en fazla mavi kodu, en az siyah kodu bilmişlerdir. Sağlık personelinin, afetlerde hastane öncesi ve hastanede görevlerini yerine getirmeleri için afete müdahale bilgi düzeyleri yüksek olmalıdır. Bu nedenle sağlık kurumlarında afet eğitimleri konusunda düzenli eğitimler verilmeli, tatbikatlar yapılmalıdır.

This study was carried out with a methodological, cross-sectional and descriptive design with the purpose of determining the knowledge levels of healthcare personnel working at private hospitals on response to disasters. The population of the study consisted of 505 healthcare professionals employed at 3 private hospitals in the province of Istanbul in Turkey, while the sample consisted of 270 individuals who agreed to participate in the study. The data were collected by a questionnaire form written by the researcher between February and April 2018. Percentages, means, Mann Whitney U test and Kruskal Wallis test were used to analyze the data. For the study to be carried out, approval from the Social Sciences Ethics Board of Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University and institutional permission from the private hospitals where the study was conducted were obtained. In this study, most of the participants were nurses and health technicians, especially in the age group of 29-34, single and high school graduates and had 2-5 years of working experience. It was found in the study that the healthcare personnel had medium-level knowledge on response to disasters. There were statistically significant difference in the participants' knowledge levels on response to disasters based on their total work experience in years, need to receive disaster training, status of having taken disaster triage and evacuation training, status of participation in an earthquake drill, having experienced a disaster and thinking that there are chemical, radioactive, terrorism-related and fire-related risks in their environment. Most participants knew about the Hospital Disaster Plan (HAP), while only a third knew about their task in it. Most of the participants thought that the drills they experienced were organized by people with expertise and managed earnestly by the institution, and planned drills were productive. Among the emergency codes, the participants knew the most about code blue, while they knew the least about code black. In order for healthcare personnel to perform their pre-hospital and hospital duties in cases of disasters, they need to have high knowledge levels on disaster response. This is why regular trainings should be provided and drills should be organized about disaster management at healthcare institutions.
