Özet
Festivaller, dünya çapında turizm ve eğlence endüstrilerinin büyüyen bir sektör olarak karşımıza çıkmaktadır. Gerçekleştirildiği bölge ve ev sahibi toplum üzerinde önemli ekonomik, sosyo-kültürel, politik, toplumsal imajı güçlendirme gibi etkilere sahip olduğu görülmektedir. Festivallerin bölgeye ve yerel halka olumlu etkilerinin devam etmesi için festivallerin sürekliliği sağlanmalıdır. Bu çalışmanın amacı; Balıkesir ilinin Edremit ilçesinde Zeytinli sahilinde her yıl Ağustos ve Eylül ayları arasında gerçekleştirilen Zeytinli Rock Festivali' nin etkilerinin bölgede yaşayan yerel halk tarafından nasıl algılandığının tespit edilmesidir. Yerel halkın bölgede festival ve turizm gelişimine destekleri ve festival için bölgeye gelen ziyaretçilere karşı algı ve tutumlarının belirlenmesi ise bir diğer amacıdır. Tez kapsamında araştırma verileri; Zeytinli Rock Festivali'nin gerçekleştirildiği bölgedeki yerel halktan, 29 Ağustos - 2 Eylül tarihleri arasında, kolayda örnekleme yöntemi ile yüz yüze anket tekniği kullanılmıştır. Uygulama kapsamında 468 anket elde edilmiştir. Verilerin analizinde ilk olarak yüzde, frekans, aritmetik ortalama gibi analiz tekniklerinden yararlanılmıştır. Araştırma ölçeğine önce açıklayıcı faktör analizi daha sonra doğrulayıcı faktör analizi uygulanarak araştırma modelinin faktör yapısı doğrulanmıştır. Araştırma modeline ilişkin kurulan hipotezler yapısal eşitlik modeli ile test edilmiştir. Yapısal eşitlik modeli ile test edilen hipotezler sonucunda festivalin olumlu ve olumsuz etkilerinden ''toplumsal imaj ve eğlence fırsatı'', ''güvenlik riskleri'' ve ''ekonomik maliyet'' değişkenlerinin yerel halkın festival gelişim desteği üzerinde istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir etkiye sahip olduğu belirlenmiştir. Festivalin olumlu ve olumsuz etkilerinden ''toplumsal imaj ve eğlence fırsatı'', ''ekonomik gelişim'', ''altyapı ve kentsel gelişim'', ''trafik sorunları'' ve ''çevresel risk ve sosyal çatışma'' değişkenlerinin yerel halkın turizm gelişim desteği üzerinde istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir etkiye sahip olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Ayrıca festivalin pozitif ve negatif etkilerinin, turizm ve festival gelişim desteği üzerinde duygusal dayanışmanın negatif yönde moderatör (düzenleyici- ılımlaştırıcı) etkisi olduğu tespit edilmiştir.

Festivals are a growing and vibrant sector of the tourism and entertainment industries around the world. It is seen that the region and host society have significant economic, socio-cultural, political and social image strengthening effects. The continuity of the festivals should be ensured in order for the festivals to continue to have positive effects on the region and local people. The aim of this study is; It is the determination of the effect of the positive and negative effects of the local people, who live in the region where the Rock Festival of Zeytinli is organized, on the festival and tourism development supports. In addition, the moderator (modifying-regulatory) role of the local people's perception of emotional solidarity against the festival's visitors was explored on the festival development of the festival with tourism. Research data within the scope of the thesis; The local people in the region, where the Rock Festival of Zeytinli was held, were gathered from 29 August to 2 September, using the method of face-to-face survey with easy sampling method. 468 data were gathered from the indigenous population. In the analysis of data, descriptive data such as percentage, frequency and arithmetic mean were used. First, descriptive factor analysis was applied to the research scale and confirmatory factor analysis was applied to confirm the factor structure of the research model. The hypotheses established for the research model were tested with structural equation model. As a result of the hypothesis tested by the structural equation model, ''social image and entertainment opportunity'', ''security risks'' and ''economic cost'' variables have a statistically significant effect on the festival development support of the local people. It was detected. The sosyal social image and entertainment opportunity , economic development , urban infrastructure and urban development, economic traffic problems and enjoy environmental risk and social conflict er variables from the positive and negative effects of the festival It was concluded that it has a statistically significant effect on tourism development support. In addition, it was observed that the positive and negative effects of the festival were found to have a negative moderator (regulatory-modifying) effect of emotional solidarity on tourism and festival development support.
