Özet
Bu araştırmanın amacı, zihin engelli bireylere tuvaleti kullanma becerisinin öğretiminderesimli kartlarla sunulan eş zamanlı ipucuyla öğretimin etkililiğini belirlemektir. Araştırma, tek desenli araştırma modellerinden denekler arası çoklu yoklama modeli ile hazırlanmıştır. Deneklere tuvalet kullanma becerileri eş zamanlı ipucu yöntemi ile 14 alt basamakta öğretilmiş ve verilen eğitimlerin aşama aşama sonuçları kaydedilerek verilen eğitimin etkinliği test edilmiştir. Araştırmanın bağımlı değişkeni, deneklerin kendilerine tuvaletini yapma adımlarını içeren yönerge verildiğinde bağımsız olarak tuvaleti kullanma becerisini en az %100 düzeyinde doğru olarak yapması olarak tanımlanmaktadır. Araştırmanın bağımsız değişkeni, resimli kartlar kullanılarak eşzamanlı ipucuyla öğretimdir. Çocuklara 5 oturum olarak verilen eğitimlerin olumlu sonuçlar verdiği ve eğitimlere bağlı olarak 3 çocuğun da tam yeterlilik seviyesine ulaştığı görülmektedir. Yapılan ön değerlendirme ve son değerlendirme sonuçlarına göre çocukların üçünün de test edilen 14 becerinin hepsinde tam beceri seviyesine ulaştığı görülmektedir. Ayrıca araştırma bulgularına göre, yoklama oturumundan sonra ki 2 gün, 1 hafta ve 2 hafta sonra gerçekleştirilen izleme ve yoklama oturumlarında deneklerin kalıcılık ve genellemeyi %100 oranında sağladıkları görülmüştür. Araştırmada etkinliği test edilen eş zamanlı ipucuyla öğretim yöntemlerinden resimli kartlarla öğretim metodunun zihinsel engelli çocuklara tuvalet becerilerinin kazandırılmasında başarılı bir yöntem olduğu tespit edilmiştir.

The aim of this study was to determine the effectiveness of instruction with simultaneous clues presented with picture cards in teaching the use of the toilet to people with mental disabilities. The research was prepared by using multiple polling model among the subjects among the single-patterned research models. The toilet use skills were taught to the subjects in 14 sub-steps by using simultaneous hint method and the effectiveness of the training was tested by recording the results of the trainings gradually. The dependent variable of the research is defined as the ability of the subjects to use the toilet independently at least 100% correctly when they are instructed to include the steps of toileting. The independent variable of the research is simultaneous clue instruction using picture cards. It is seen that the trainings given to the children in 5 sessions have positive results and that 3 children have reached the full proficiency level depending on the trainings. According to the preliminary and final evaluation results, it is seen that all three of the children reached the full skill level in all 14 skills tested. In addition, according to the findings of the research, it was observed that the subjects achieved 100% retention and generalization in the follow-up and attendance sessions held 2 days, 1 week and 2 weeks after the attendance session. In the study, it was determined that the method of teaching with picture cards, which is one of the concurrent clues, whose effectiveness is tested, is a successful method for acquiring toilet skills for children with intellectual disabilities.
