Özet

II ÖZET Dört bölümden oluşan bu çalışmanın Önbilgiler başlığı altındaki 1. Bölümde tezde kullanılan önemli tanım ve teoremler verildi. 2. Bölümde önce G lokal kompakt unimodüler bir grup olmak üzere, G üzerinde tanımlanan Beurling'in w simetrik ağırlık fonksiyonu kullanılarak bir A® (G) uzayı tanımlandı. Sonra bu uzayın bir Banach uzayı olduğu, ötelemeler altında invaryantlığı, ötelemelerin sürekliliği ve kapsama özellikleri incelendi. Ayrıca G nin lokal kompakt bir Abel grubu olması durumunda bu uzayın, L^ uzayında sınırlı ve kompakt destekli fonksiyonlarından oluşan bir yaklaşık birimin varlığı ispatlandı. 3. bölümde eğer G lokal kompakt unimodüler bir grupsa ve Pp adı verilen özelliği sağlarsa, A® (G) uzayının L^(G) ® ^ L%(G) uzayına izometrik izomorf olduğu ve bunun sonucu olarak da L^{G) den L ^*(G) uzayına giden çarpanlar uzayının (A râ (G))* uzayı olduğu gösterildi. Bu bölümün sonunda ise G nin bir lokal kompakt Abel grubu olması durumunda L^{G) den A® (G) uzayına giden çarpanlar uzayının, ^ro (G) uzayı olduğu ispatlandı. 4. bölümde ise G lokal kompakt bir Abel grubu olmak üzere A^, (G) = A® (G)n>La(G) uzayı ve bunun üzerinde |||.|||vj, normu tanımladı. Bu uzayın bir Banach uzayı, girişim işlemine göre bir Banach cebiri ve soyut Segal cebiri olduğu gösterildi. Son olarak L^iG) uzayından A\! (G) uzayına giden çarpanlar uzayı incelendi.

Özet (Çeviri)

ABSTRACT This thesis consists of four Chapters namely first, second, third and fourth Chapters. In the first Chapter we reminded the main definitions and theorems which are used throught this thesis. Let G be a locally compact unimodüler group and co is a symmetric Beurling's weight function on G. In the second Chapter we defined a normed space /% (G) and proved that A^ (G) is a Banach space. We also showed that the space A%, (G) is invariant under the translations and the translations are continuous. Furthermore, we discussed the inclusion properties and showed that if G is a locally compact Abelian group then A\$ (G) admits an approximate identity bounded in L^{G). In the third Chapter, we proved that the space L^{G)®q L® (G) is isornetrically isomorphic to the space A& (G) if and only if G statisfies property Pp. At the end of this Chapter we showed that if G is a locally compact Abelian group then the space of all multipliers from L0)(G) to A^ (G) is the space A^ (G). Let G be a locally compact Abelian group. In the fourth Chapter we defined a normed space (-4Cj'^(G), lll-lll^) and proved that A^(G) is a Banach algebra with respect to convolution and also an abstract Segal algebra. Finally we discussed the space of all multipliers from L^0{G) to the space >Avj'^(G).
