Özet (Çeviri)

Educating employees about quality serves several purposes: it introduces the company's new vision, values and mission, it provides the tools for self-management and development; it establishes a corporate culture focus on the prevention and the solution of problems and on the continual improvement of performance. Educating employees also helps to create a culture devoted to problem solving and continuous improvement. All employees must be familiar with the tools for preventing, detecting and eliminating waste. If employees are not properly trained, total quality management process can not be successful. Quality education promotes the development of a new organisational model based on employee initiative and teamwork. To promote quality with participation by all, quality control education must be given to all employees, from the president to assembly line workers. Total quality control is a thought revolution in management, therefore the thought processes of all employees must be changed. To accomplish this, education must be repeated over and over again.“ There are at least four different audiences for quality education in a company: Top management, middle managers, quality team leaders and workers. The educational process should be customised for each of these audiences. Education for the top management should emphasise developing skills in mentoring, coaching and supporting quality improvement: Appropriate courses for middle management include participate management and basic statistical processes. Because these managers will be responsible for training other personnel, they also should take a ”train the trainer“ course and skills to guide maximum performance from their employees. Educating team leaders have more technical courses about quality. Training for lower level team members should provide them with methods to improve their specific technical and interpersonal skills and should help them develop skills in statistical problem analysis, self- management and leadership. Like total quality management, training must be thought as continuous improvement subject. Total quality process's success depends on continuous training approach of the firm. The basic components of total quality such as; continuous improvement, customer satisfaction, commitment of employees, support of top management, leadership, policy deployment and statistical tliinking and xuicontinuous training are the main topics of a good quality management training in company.
