Özet
ÖZET Son yıllarda önem kazanmaya başlayan ve ileri teknolojiye dayalı üretim sistemlerinden birisi de esnek imalat sistemleridir Esneklik kavramının ön planda olduğu bu üretim sıstemlerinde kaliteli, buyuk ve küçük partiler halinde ve bol çeşitliliğe dayalı üretim gerçekleştirilebilmektedir. Mamul ve yan mamul stok maliyetlerinden önemli oranda tasarruflar sağlanabilmektedir. Bu üretim sistemleri, grup teknolojisi prensiplerine dayalı olarak çalışmaktadır. Böylece, benzer parça ve makinaların gruplandırılmasıyla, bir parçanın Üretimi bir hücrede tamamlanabilmektedir Bu temel özelliklere sahip esnek üretim sistemleriyle ilgili olarak yapılan bu çalışmada; üretim sistemleri geleneksel ve modern üretim sistemleri olarak iki grupta incelenmiştir. Esnek üretim sistemlerinin temelini oluşturan ve entegrasyona dayalı olarak çalışan modern üretim sistemleri daha detaylı olarak ele alınmıştır. Esnek üretim sistemleri için son derece önemli olan veri tabanı yönetim sistemleri, bilgisayar program ve yazılımları detaylı olarak incelenmiştir. Bu üretim sistemlerinin donanım unsurları, yarar ve sakıncalarının yanışına bu sistemlerde geniş bir kullanım alanı bulan robotlar konusuna da geniş olarak yer verilmeye çalışılmıştır Tekstil sektöründe faaliyet gösteren bir sanayi işletmesinde araştırma yapılmak suretiyle konunun uygulama yönü ele alınmıştır. Elde edilen bilgi ve bulgular çerçevesinde, işletmede bir esnek üretim sistemi geliştirilmeye ve önerilerde bulunulmaya çalışılmıştır. Ölçek ekonomilenrinin yerini esneklikler ekonomisine bıraktığı günümüzde, Türk sanayi işletmelerinin de bu sistemlere öncelik vermeleri gereklidir. Zira, artan rekabet ortamında hayatta kalabilmek, tüketici isteklerini zamanında karşılayabilmek ve kaliteli büyük miktarlarda üretim yapabilmek açısından esnek üretim sistemleri büyük bir önem taşımaktadır.

ABSTRACT In the last years, one of the production systems that are gradually beginning to gaining signıflcıanca in the manufacturing tioid and based on advanced technology is the flexible manufacturing by si cm s Production could have been realized a wide product variety at prices, quality, big and small proportions on these production systems thai flexibility concept has been taken part in fore-plan. So, savings in the very significant proportion have been obtained from finished and semi-finished stock costs. These production systems have been running to the principles of group technology. So, the production of work-piece has boon completed in a manufacturing cell by grouping similar work pieces and machine:, In this study which is related with flexible manufacturing systems that have above properties; production systems have been studied in two groups as traditional and modern production systems. Modern production systems which have become the base of flexible manufacturing systems and been running to the integration of these modern production systems that have been studied in details. Database management systems, computer software and programs that are the most significance for the flexible manufacturing systems have been taken up in details. In addition to the hardware components, advantages and disadvantages of these systems, it could have been tried to giving a place the subject of robots which finds a wide use of field. It is taken the application side of the subject up by making a research in a manufacturing company which activates in the field of textile industry. In the frame of obtained information and findings, a flexible manufactunng system could have been tried developing arid gutting now advises in the factory. The economies of flexibilities have taken the place of economies of scale in today. For this reason, it is necessary Turkish manufacturing companies to give a priority to these systems. Because, flexible manufacturing systems have been carrying a big significiance to live in an Increasing competitor! field, to meet customer demands on time and to produce qualited products in big quantities
