Özet
Bu araştırma, astım hastalığı olan adölesanların psikososyal sorunlarını sağlıklı akranları ile karşılaştırmak ve astım hastalığı olan adölesanlara uygulanan yaratıcı drama temelli destek programının psikososyal uyuma etkisini belirlemek amacıyla iki aşamada gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırma, tanımlayıcı karşılaştırmalı ve tek gruplu ön test-son test düzeninde gerçekleştirilmiş deneysel bir çalışmadır. Deney grubunun evrenini 867 astımlı adölesan, karşılaştırma grubunun evrenini 800 sağlıklı adölesan oluşturmuştur. Araştırmanın birinci aşamasında 20 astımlı adölesandan oluşan deney grubuna yaratıcı drama temelli destek programı uygulanmıştır. Programın etkisi ön testson test şeklinde kullanılan CBCL ve YSR ölçekleri ile değerlendirilmiştir. Program sonucunda deney grubundakiler CBCL ölçeğinin toplam yeterlik, içe yönelim ve toplam problem alanlarından; YSR ölçeğinin toplam yeterlik, içe yönelim, dışa yönelim ve toplam problem alanlarından anlamlı şekilde daha iyi puan almıştır. Bu farklılık özellikle sosyallik, anksiyete-depresyon, sosyal içe dönüklük/depresyon, saldırganlık ve sosyal problemler alt testlerindeki anlamlı puan değişikliklerinden kaynaklanmıştır. Araştırmanın ikinci aşamasında astımlı adölesanların program öncesinde CBCL ve YSR'den aldığı puanlar sağlıklı akranları (n=20) ile karşılaştırılmıştır. Sağlıklı akranları ile karşılaştırıldığında astımlı adölesanlarda sosyal içe dönüklük/depresyon, somatik sorunlar, içe yönelim ve düşünce sorunları alt testlerinde anlamlı şekilde daha fazla sorun belirlenmiştir. Araştırmanın sonucunda astımlı adölesanların psikososyal sorunlarının klinisyenler tarafından göz önünde bulundurulması ve bu adölesanların desteklenmesinde yaratıcı dramanın bir araç olarak kullanılması önerilmiştir.

This study was conducted in order to compare the psychosocial problems of adolescent with asthma with those of their healthy peers and in order to determine the effect of creative drama-based support programs on the pyschosocial adjustment of adolescent with asthma in two stage. The study was performed as descriptive comparative and pretest, post-test on a singled group design .The set of the experimental group contained 867 adolescent asthma patients and the set of comparative group contained 800 healthy adolescents. Creative drama-based support program was carried out on 20 adolescent with asthma in the first stage of the research. The effect of the program was evaluated by the scales of CBCL and YSR which used in pre-test, post-test. As a conclusion the experimental group subjects got better points in total competence, internalizing and total problem of CBCL scale; in total competence, internalizing, externalizing and total problem of YSR scale; This difference was caused particularly because of significant point discrepancies in sub-tests of social, anxious/depressed, withdrawn/depressed, aggressive behaviour and social problems. The points of adolescent with asthma in the CBCL and YSR scales preceeding the program were compared with the points of healthy peers (n=20) in the second stage of the study. Upon comparison withdrawn/depressed, somatic complaints, internalizing and thought problems were found to be significantly greater among asthma patients. Psychosocial problems of adolescent asthma patients should be taken into consideration by clinicians and creative drama-based programs should be born in mind as a supportive tool.
