In this study, a $ingular initial value problem for the par_ tial differential Elquation known as Euler-Poisson-Darboux has been considered. The solutions, introduced by Asgeirson, Weinsten, Diaz and Weinberger for the k - m~l, k>m-l, k<m-l values of parameter k, were examined in detail. In the studies by Weinstein and by Diaz and Weinberger the result in whick k is a negative integer appears to be an exceptional situation. In addition the study also contains the studies by E. K. Blum who enlightened the structure of the solution in exceptional situations.
