DOKTORA TEZ ÖZÜLKÖĞRET M BEŞ NC SINIFTA TEKNOLOJ DESTEKL PROJE TABANLIÖĞRENME UYGULAMALARIAli ERSOYlköğretim Anabilim Dalı Sınıf Öğretmenliği Doktora ProgramıAnadolu Üniversitesi Eğitim Bilimleri EnstitüsüDanışman: Prof. Dr. Şefik YAŞARBu araştırmanın amacı, ilköğretim beşinci sınıfta teknoloji destekli proje tabanlıöğrenme (PTÖ) uygulamalarının nasıl gerçekleştirildiğini belirlemektir. Araştırma,durum çalışması olarak desenlenmiştir. Araştırmanın uygulaması, 2005-2006 öğretimyılı güz döneminde Eskişehir li Avukat Mail Büyükerman lköğretim Okulu'ndagerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırmaya, 5/A sınıfındaki 18'i kız, 12'si erkek olmak üzeretoplam 30 öğrenci ile sınıf öğretmeni katılmıştır. Araştırma verileri, sekiz farklı veritoplama aracıyla toplanmış ve betimsel analiz yoluyla çözümlenmiştir. Araştırmada şusonuçlar ortaya çıkmıştır:Gerçekleştirilen Teknoloji destekli PTÖ planlama, uygulama ve değerlendirme•aşamaları içinde en fazla sorun değerlendirmede yaşanmıştır.Öğrenciler, projelerini çoklu ortam öğelerini kullanarak Powerpoint sunusu•biçiminde hazırlamıştır.Öğrenciler genelde yaptıkları projeleri beğendiklerini, diğer derslere göre daha çok•eğlendiklerini belirtmişlerdir.Öğretmen teknoloji destekli PTÖ sürecine ilişkin görüşlerini; ilgili kaynakları•okumasına karşın, uygulama öncesi kaygılı olduğu biçiminde açıklamıştır.Öğrenciler PTÖ sürecinde, bilgisayar, nternet, televizyon ve dijital fotoğraf•makinesi gibi teknolojiler yoğunlukla kullanılmıştır.Gerçekleştirilen teknoloji destekli PTÖ sürecinde, öğrenci, öğretmen ve okul•kaynaklı sorunlar yaşandığı belirlenmiştir.

ABSTRACTTECHNOLOGICALLY SUPPORTED PROJECT-BASED LEARNINGAPPLICATIONS AT THE FIFTH GRADE OF PRIMARY SCHOOLAli ERSOYDepartment of Primary Education, Ph.D. ProgramAnadolu University Graduate School of Educational SciencesAdvisor: Prof. Dr. Şefik YAŞARThe purpose of this study is to determine how technologically supported project-basedlearning (PBL) applications are carried out at the fifth grade in primary education. Thisresearch was designed as a case study. The study was conducted at Avukat MailBüyükerman Primary School in Eskişehir Province in the Fall term of 2005-2006educational year. The participants of the study are 18 female, 12 male students, and theteacher of 5/A class. The data were gathered through eigth as different data-collectioninstruments. The data were analyzed descriptively. The following results of this study:The technologically supported PBL was carried out in three stages; planning,•practice, and evaluation. Most of the problems occured in the evaluation stage.Students prepared their projects through multi-media elements as Powerpoint•presentation and by joining their projects together.The students stated that they generally liked their Project and enjoyed more in•comparison to other courses.Before practicing the technologically supported PBL, the teacher stated that he had•concerns about technologically supported PBL process even though he had read therelated resources.The students used different technologies such as computer, Internet, television, and•digital camera intensively in the process of technologically supported PBL carriedout in this study.In the process of technologically supported PBL some problems originating from•student, teacher, and school were determined.
