Dr. Osman MERTBu araştırmada ilköğretim beşinci sınıf öğrencilerinin Fen ve Teknoloji dersi öğretimprogramı bilişsel amaçlarına ulaşma düzeyleri çeşitli değişkenler açısından incelenmeyeçalışılmıştır.Araştırmada öntest-sontest deseni kullanılmıştır. Fen ve Teknoloji dersi bilişselamaçlarına göre hazırlanan başarı testi, güvenirlik ve geçerlik çalışması yapıldıktan sonrabelirlenen öğrenci gruplarına uygulanmıştır. Uygulama sonucunda elde edilen veriler, SPSSpaket programında değerlendirilmiş, analizlerde, t testi ve bir faktörde tekrarlı ölçümler içiniki faktörlü ANOVA uygulanmıştır.Fen ve Teknoloji dersi öğretim programı bilişsel amaçlarının gerçekleşme düzeyiolarak, üst grup çevre ilköğretim okullarındaki öğrencilerin gerek öntest, gerekse sontestuygulama sonuçları dikkate alındığında, orta ve alt grup çevre ilköğretim okullarındaokumakta olan öğrencilere oranla daha başarılı oldukları, öğretime başlamadan önce gruplararasında bulunan farklılıkların öğretim sürecinin tamamlanması neticesinde daha da arttığı;diğer taraftan orta ve alt grup çevre ilköğretim okulları arasında da orta grup çevre ilköğretimokulları lehine farklılıkların bulunduğu görülmüştür. Ayrıca Fen ve Teknoloji dersi bilişselamaçlarına ulaşmada, bilgi basamağında kız ve erkek öğrenciler arasında bir farkgörülmezken, kavrama basamağı ve toplamda erkek öğrencilerin daha başarılı olduğugörülmüştür.Sonuç olarak bütün bu farklılıkların hangi faktörlerden kaynaklanmış olabileceğiaraştırma kapsamında tartışılmış ve yeni Fen ve Teknoloji programı önceki Fen Bilgisiprogramıyla karşılaştırılarak, konuyla ilgili bazı öneriler sunulmuştur.

Prof. Dr. Osman MERTThis study was conducted with the aim of determining the fifth class pupils? levels ofattaintment towards the cognitive purposes of the teaching programme of science and technologylesson in terms of various variables.In the study pretest-posttest technique was used. The proficiency test, which was preparedaccording to the cognitive targets of Science and Technology was applied to the determined studentsgroups after a study of reliability and validity. The data gained at the and of application were evalvatedin SPSS packet; two factor ANOVA for repetitious measurements in one factor and t-test for analyseswere applied. As the level of the realization of cognitive targets of Science and Technology syllabus, itwas seen that the students studying at the upper group primary schools, when considered pretest andposttest results, were at a better level than the students who attend the surrounding schools of middleand lower group, that the difference between students increased more and more as a result ofcomplement of teaching process and that there were differences between surrounding primary schoolsof middle and lower-group in favour of the suurounding schools of middle-group. Besides, in reachingcognitive targets of Science and Technology subject, it was determined that male students were moresuccessful at the level of grasp and in total while no difference were seen at the level of knowledgebetween male and female students.As a result it was discussed that what sources all this differences result from and the currentsyllabus of the Science and Technology was compared and contrasted to the former syllabus ofScience and some suggestions were made, related to the subject.
