İİ SANATTA YETERLİK TEZ ÖZÜ Eğitim Fakülteleri Resim-İş Öğretmenliği Programındaki Ana sanat Atölye Derslerine İlişkin Öğretim Elemanı ve Öğrenci Görüşleri A.Dilek KIRATLI Resim-İş Eğitimi Programı Anadolu Üniversitesi Sosyal Bilimler Enstitüsü-Şubat 2005 Danışman: Doç.Dr. Esmahan AĞAOĞLU Bu araştırma ile Eğitim Fakülteleri Güzel Sanatlar Eğitimi Bölümü Resim-iş öğretmenliği Programında yer alan ana sanat atölye derslerinin uygulanması boyutunda karşılaşılan sorunlara ilişkin öğretim elemanı ve öğrenci görüşlerinin belirlenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Araştırma, 2002-2003 öğretim yılında Türkiye'de bulunan dört üniversitenin eğitim fakültesi resim-iş öğretmenliği programında görev yapan 55 öğretim elemanı ile 540 öğrenciden elde edilen verilerle gerçekleştirilmiştir. Tarama modelindeki bu araştırmanın verileri“Resim-İş Öğretmenliği Programında Uygulanan Ana sanat Atölye Derslerine İlişkin Öğretim Elemanı ve Öğrenci Görüşlerini Belirleme Anketi”ile toplanmıştır. Toplam olarak öğretim elemanları için düzenlenmiş olan veri toplama aracında 25 madde, öğrenciler için düzenlenmiş olan veri toplama aracında 26 madde yer almaktadır. Araştırma verilerinin çözümlenmesi aşamasında SPSS (Statistical Package for the Social Sciences) bilgisayar programından yararlanılmış ve istatistiksel teknik olarak frekans ve yüzdeler kullanılmıştır.İİ Araştırmadan elde edilen bulgulara göre, ankete katılan öğretim elemanları ve öğrencilerin ana sanat atölye derslerine ilişkin görüşleri genel olarak, ana sanat atölyelerinin fiziksel mekan açısından yeterli olduğu ancak araç-gereç donanımlarının yetersiz olduğu, ana sanat atölyelerinin teknolojik açıdan yetersiz olduğu, ana sanat atölye derslerinde gereksinim duyulan kitaplara ulaşabilecek kütüphanelerin yetersiz olduğu, ana sanat atölyelerinde çalışmaların sergilenmesi için pano ve/veya standların yetersiz olduğu, ana sanat atölye derslerinde yapılan çalışmaların sürekli sergilenmeleri için özel mekanların yetersiz olduğu, ana sanat atölye derslerinin ders saati sürelerinin yetersiz olduğu, ana sanat atölye derslerinin içerik ve içeriğin uygulanabilme düzeylerinin yetersiz olduğu, sonuçlarına varılmıştır. Bu sonuçlara dayalı olarak da; ana sanat atölyelerinin araç-gereç ve teknolojik donanımlar açısından yeterli konuma getirilmesi, üniversite kütüphanelerinde bu dersler için gereksinim duyulan kitapların bulunması, bölümlerde ana sanat atölye çalışmalarının sergilenebileceği özel bir mekan ayrılması, benzer şekilde çalışmaların atölyelerde sergilenmeleri için pano ve/veya standartların yeterli konuma getirilmesi, ana sanat atölye derslerinin ders saati sürelerinin arttırılması ve derslerin içerik ve içeriğin uygulanabilme düzeylerinin arttırılması önerilmiştir.

IV ABSTRACT The Opinions of Students and Teaching Staff regarding the Main Studio Courses in the“Program in Arts and Craft Education”at Education Faculties A. Dilek KIRATLI Program in Arts and Crafts Education Anadolu University Social Sciences Institute - February 2005 Supervisor: Asst. Prof. Esmahan A?AOGLU This study aims at investigating the opinions of students and teaching staff concerning the problems faced during the application stage of the Main Studio Courses included in the“Program in Arts and Craft Education”at the“Department of Fine Arts Education”of Education Faculties. The study was based on the data collected from 55 lecturers and 540 students enrolled and employed at Programs in Arts and Crafts Education at the Education Faculties of four different universities in Turkey during the academic year 2002- 2003. The data of this survey model study was collected through a questionnaire called“The Questionnaire for Investigating the Opinions of Students and Teaching Staff regarding the Main Studio Courses”. The version designed specifically for the students consisted of 26 items, while the one designed for the teaching staff had 25 items. SPSS (Statistical Package for the Social Sciences) was used to calculate the frequencies and percentages as the statistical technique during the analysis of the data obtained in the study.According to the findings of the study, the students and the teaching staff having participated in the study stated the following opinions regarding the Main Studio Courses: the main studio courses are adequate in terms of physical conditions, but inadequate in terms of the equipment and tools required, the studios are technologically inadequate, the books necessary for these courses are not available in the libraries, there are not enough notice boards and stands in the studios to display the works done during these courses, there are not special places for permanent display of the works done during these courses, the total class hours per week are not enough, the courses are poor in terms of contents and the practicality of the existing contents. On the basis of these findings, the following suggestions have been made by the researcher: the Main Studio Courses should be made as adequate as possible in terms of the materials, tools and technological equipment, the books needed for these courses should be made available in university libraries, a special place should be allocated to display the works done in these courses, it is necessary to increase the number of notice boards and stands in the workshops to enable students to display their works, it is highly suggested that the class hours per week should be increased, the content of the courses should be enriched and the practicality of this content should be reconsidered.
