Özet
ÖZET Bu çalışmada; ortaöğretim kurumlarındaki biyoloji öğretmenleri tarafından değerlendirme amaçlı kullanılan ölçme araçlarındaki sorular incelenmiştir. Araştırmada, 14 liseden toplanan 2971 soru kullanılmıştır. Kırşehir ili merkez ortaöğretim kurumlarında biyoloji öğretmenlerinin 2002-2003 eğitim- öğretim yılında sordukları yazılı sınav sorularının tipleri ve Bloom Taksonomisine göre bilişsel alan düzeyleri tespit edilmiştir. Bu tespitlere dayalı olarak, 9, 10 ve 11. sınıflar arasındaki farklılıklar yanında, genel liseler, meslek liseleri ve yabancı dil ağırlıklı liseler arasındaki farklılıklar ortaya konmuştur. Bütün bu değerlendirmelerde aşağıdaki sonuçlara ulaşılmıştır. 1. Biyoloji öğretmenleri en çok çoktan seçmeli ve essay tipi soruları kullanmaktadırlar. Doğru-yanlış ve kısa cevaplı sorular çok az tercih etmektedirler. 2. Essay tipi sorular 9. sınıflarda, çoktan seçmeli sorular 10 ve 11. sınıflarda diğer soru tiplerine göre daha fazla kullanılmaktadır. 3. Essay tipi sorular meslek liselerinde, çoktan seçmeli sorular yabancı dil ağırlıklı liseler ve genel liselerde diğer soru tiplerine göre daha fazla kullanılmaktadır. 4. Biyoloji öğretmenlerinin sordukları yazılı sınav sorularının bilişsel alan düzeylerinin düşük olduğu belirlenmiştir. 5. Dokuzuncu sınıflarda sorulan soruların bilişsel alan düzeylerinin, 10 ve 1 1. sınıflarda sorulan sorulardan daha alt seviyede olduğu tespit edilmiştir. 6. Meslek liselerinde sorulan soruların bilişsel alan düzeylerinin yabancı dil ağırlıklı liseler ve genel liselerden daha alt seviyede olduğu belirlenmiştir.

11 ABSTRACT In this study, questions in the assessment instruments which are used by the biology teachers in the secondary school institutions with the aim of evaluation were examined. In the survey, 2971 questions were used from 14 high schools. Question types in the classical exams which were asked by the biology teachers in the secondary school institutions during 2002-2003 academic year and their cognitive field levels according to the Bloom's taxonomy were found out. After the question types and their cognitive field levels were evaluated in general, differences between grades 9, 10, 11 classes and between the foreign language-intensive highs schools, state high schools and vocational high schools. Results obtained with the survey are as follows: 1. The biology teachers mostly make use of multiple choice and essay type questions. They rarely prefer the true-false and short answer questions. 2. Essay type questions are used in grade 9 classes and multiple choice questions in grade 10 and 1 1 classes more than the other types. 3. Essay type questions are used in vocational high schools and multiple choice questions in foreign language-intensive high schools and state high schools more than the other types. 4. It was found out that the cognitive field levels of the classical questions asked by the biology teachers were low. 5. It was ascertained that the cognitive field levels of the questions asked in grade 9 classes are lower than the questions asked in the grades 10 and 11 classes.Ill 6. It was ascertained that the cognitive field levels of the questions asked in the vocational high schools are lower than the questions asked in foreign language-intensive high schools and state high schools.
