Özet

ÖZET Tüm toplumlar ve kültürlerde bayramlar eskiden beri vardır. Bunlar insanın sosyal yaşayışı ve toplum için bir ihtiyaçtır. Bayramlar, insanların mutluluklarını birlikte gerçekleştirmeye ve güzellikleri öğrenmeye, toplum moralini de yükseltmeye yardım eder. Tezimizde, Gagauz Yeri'ndeki Bayramları, Özel Günleri ve bunlarla ilgili kutlamaları göstermeye çalıştık. Çalışmamız; Giriş, Gagauz Yeri'nin Tanıtılması, Gagauz Yeri'ndeki Bayramlar ve Kutlamaları, Takvimi ve İnançları, Özel Günler, Anadolu'daki Bayram İle Kutlamaları karşılaştırılması bölümlerinden meydana gelmektedir. Giriş bölümünde Gagauzlar ile ilgili etnografîk çalışmaların durumunu açıklamaya çalıştım. Birinci bölümde tezimizin konusu, Gagauz Yeri'ndeki Bayramlar ve Özel Günler kutlamaları ile ilgili olduğundan ilk önce Gagauz Yeri'nin tanıtılması yapıldı. Bayram kelimesi üzerinde duruldu ve Gagauz Yeri'ndeki Bayramların ve Özel Günlerin açıklaması yapıldı. İkinci bölümde Sonbahar ve İlkbahar Bayramların kutlamalarından söz etmeye çalıştık. Üçüncü bölümde Takvimi ve inançlarım işledim. Dördüncü bölümde Özel Günler üzerinde durdum. Beşinci bölümde Gagauz Yeri'ndeki Bayramların ve Özel Günlerin kutlamaları ile Anadolu'daki Bayramların ve kutlamaların benzerliklerini ortaya çıkartmayı amaçladım.

ABSTRACT Fests are known to have existed invariably in all populations and cultures of the world, since the beginning of history. They are indeed prerequisites for communal lifestyles of human populations, as well as for the community itself. Fests help people share a common sense of love and good will and learn various beauties and gather the communal joy of living together while helping rise of moral values in each community. In this study, we try to bring a comprehensive insight to the Fests and Special Days organized at Gagauz Settlements, while providing the reader with information on all aspects of commemorations held in line therewith. By composition, the study mainly consists of the following sections: Introduction Part; An Overview of the Gagauz Settlements, Fests and Celebrations Organized at Gagauz Settlements, the Ancient Calendar and Beliefs, Special Days and a Comparison of Anatolian Fests and Celebrations. The Introduction Part provides information on the current stats of ethnographic studies made hitherto, throughout the history, on Gagauz Turks. Section One, provides an overview of the Gagauz Cities and Settlements as a beginning, as the subject of this study is mainly associated with the Fests and Special Day Celebrations organized and held at Gagauz Settlements. It also highlights and provides a full definition of the word“Fest”, with full description of the Fests and Special Day events pursued at the Gagauz Settlements. Section Two deals with celebrations held during fall and spring times of every year. Section Three provides a full insight for the reader to Ancient Calendar and beliefs of this tribal community. 108Section Four rather falls deeper into Special Days and Events. Section Five, the final part of the study, holds a detailed comparison, which interrogates and addresses to the similarities found between the Fests and Special Day Events pursued at Gagauz Settlements and the Fests and celebrations carried out throughout Anatolia. 109
