Özet
Tezin Adı : Sınıf Yönetiminde Öğrenci Kontrolü Açısından Olumlu Öğretmen- Öğrenci İlişkileri Hazırlayan : Salih Erdoğan ÖZET Bu araştırmada, liselerde görev yapan öğretmenler ve son sınıfta öğrenim gören öğrencilerin sınıf içi ilişkilerinin olumluluk düzeyi incelenmeye çalışılmıştır. Araştırmada,“Sınıfta öğretmen ile öğrenciler arasında olumlu ilişkiler var mıdır?”sorusunun yanıtı aranmıştır. Araştırma betimsel modeldedir. Veri toplama aracı olarak araştırmacı tarafından geliştirilen“Orta Öğretimde Olumlu Öğretmen-Öğrenci İlişkileri Anketi”kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın verileri, 2000-2001 eğitim-öğretim yılı, I. yarı yılında Edirne ili ve ilçelerinde görev yapan 112 öğretmen ve 356 lise son sınıf öğrencisinin ankete verdiği yanıtlar doğrultusunda oluşturulmuştur. Verilerin istatiksel analizi SPSS 7.0/9.0 paket programlan kullanılarak“t Testi”,“Tek Yönlü Varyans Analizi”ve“Tukey Testi”ile yapılmış ve aşağıdaki sonuçlara ulaşılmıştır. Öğretmen ve öğrencilerin olumlu öğretmen-öğrenci ilişkileri karşılaştırılmış ve öğretmen algılarına göre daha iyi düzeyde olumlu bir ilişkinin sınıflarda varlığı saptanmıştır. Ayrıca, öğrenci algıları kendi içinde karşılaştırılmış, anne-babanın öğrenim düzeyi ile ailenin aylık gelir düzeyine göre algılar arasında anlamlı farklar saptanmıştır. Ancak, öğrencilerin cinsiyetleri ve anne-baba meslekleri ile öğretmenlerin cinsiyet, yaş, hizmet, kıdem ve mezun oldukları son öğretim kurumlarına göre olumlu öğretmen-öğrenci ilişkileri algıları arasında anlamlı düzeyde fark bulunmamaktadır. Bu veriler, insanların geleceğini etkileyen en önemli etmenlerin ekonomik gelir ve sahip oldukları öğrenim düzeyleri olduğunu doğrular niteliktedir.

m Subject of the thesis : Positive Teacher-Student Relationships in terms of Student Control in Classroom Management Prepared by : Salih Erdoğan ABSTRACT In this study, it is aimed to investigate the level of the positive relationships between the teachers teaching in the high schools and the students attending to the third classes in the high schools and to get the answer of the question“ Is there a positive teacher-student relationship in the classroom?”. This study is in the form of descriptive research. The questionnaire,“Positive teacher-student relationships in the high school”, formed by the researcher was used as the means of data collection. The data of the study was formed from the answers given by 112 teachers working in different high schools and 356 third class students attending to different high schools in Edirne city center and the towns in Edirne in the first semester of 2000-2001. SPSS pocket programs, 7.0/9.0, were used for processing the statistical analysis and the following findings were found out by applying“t-test”,“one way factor analysis”, and“ tukey test”. The teachers' and students' perceptions were compared and as a result of comparison, the existence of a positive teacher-student relationship in the classroom was determined according to the teachers' perceptions. When the students' perceptions were compared within the group, meaningful differences were determined according to the educational levels of the students' parents and the montly incomes of the students' families. But, no meaningful differences related with the students' perceptions according to their gender and parents' occupations, and related with the teachers' perceptions according to their gender, ages, working period and the educational organizations they graduated from regarding positive teacher-student relationships were found out. These findings justify the fact that the educational and income levels are the dominant aspects of one's future life.
