Özet
Bu araştırmada, 19. yüzyıl Romantik Dönem'de flüt müziğinin gelişimi, Romantik Dönem bestecilerinin müzikal anlayışları, Theobald Boehm'ün flüte kazandırdığı teknik yenilikler, dönemin müzikal ekolleri ve flütün bu süreçteki konumu incelenmiştir. Araştırmanın temel konusunu oluşturan Flüt Eğitiminde Kullanılan Theobald Boehm 24 Caprices Etudes Op. 26 etüt kitabının teknik ve icra yönünden analizi yapılmış; bu kapsamda Boehm'ün hayatı, flüte getirdiği yenilikler ve yazdığı eserler detaylandırılmıştır. Bu çalışmada, T.Boehm'in etütlerinin lisans düzeyindeki flüt öğrencilerine teknik ve icra açısından rehberlik etmesi amaçlanmaktadır. Etütler, teknik ve icra açısından derinlemesine incelenmiş olup; lisans düzeyindeki öğrenciler ve eğitimciler için performans sırasında karşılaşılan teknik zorlukların giderilmesine yardımcı olmak ve bu eseri daha ileri düzeyde icra edilmesine yönelik bir temel oluşturmak amacıyla çeşitli alıştırmalar, gamlar, arpejler ve egzersizlerle desteklenmiştir. Aynı zamanda kitapta yer alan etütlerdeki, tonalite, modülasyon, hız terimleri, nüanslar, müzikalite, entonasyon, artikülasyon ve parmakların hızı gibi teknik unsurların her biri ayrntılı olarak ele alınmıştır. Bu bağlamda, tüm teknik ve icra yönlerini içeren çalım biçimlerinin nasıl uygulanması gerektiğine dair ayrıntılı bilgiler sunulmuştur. Araştırmada elde edilen bulgular doğrultusunda Theobald Boehm'ün 24 Kapris etütlerinin yalnızca virtüözite düzeyinin gelişimine değil, aynı zamanda sistematik teknik çalışma alışkanlığının kazandırılmasına da katkı sunduğu ve bu alandaki boşluğa yanıt verdiği düşünülmektedir. Çalışmada, söz konusu etütlerin yalnızca teknik gelişime yönelik olmadığı aynı zamanda karşılaşılan teknik problemlerin çözümüne rehberlik eden pedagojik bir kaynak niteliği taşıdığı vurgulanmıştır. Bu doğrultuda araştırma; etütlerin teknik özelliklerini, flüt eğitimine katkılarını, hangi teknik sorunların çözümüne yardımcı olduğu ve diğer teknik kaynaklarla ilişkisini inceleyerek flüt literatürüne katkı sağlamayı amaçlamaktadır.

In this research, the development of flute music during the 19th century Romantic Period,the musical perspectives of Romantic composers, the technical innovations introduced to the flute by Theobald Boehm, the musical schools of the era, and the status of the flute during that period were examined.The main subject of this research is an analysis of Theobald Boehm's 24 Caprices Etudes Op. 26, a book of etudes used in flute education, from both technical and performance perspectives; within this scope, Boehm's life, the innovations he brought to the flute, and his written works are detailed. The aim of this study is to provide guidance for undergraduate flute students regarding the technical and performance aspects of T. Boehm's etudes.The etudes have been throughly examined in terms of technique and performance; they are supported by various exercises, scales, arpeggios, and drills to ease the technical challenges encountered during performance for undergraduate students and educators, and to provide a foundation for playing this piece at a more advanced level.Furthermore, technical elements within the etudes- such as tonality, modulation, tempo markings, nuances, musicality, intonation, articulation, and finger speed- have been throughly detailed.In this context, detailed information is provided on how and in what manner various playing styles involving all technical and performance aspects should be applied. This research aims to demonstrate how Theobold Boehm's 24 Caprices studies contribute not only to the development of virtuosity but also to the cultivation of systematic technical practice habits, thereby addressing an academic gap in this area. In the study, it is emphasized that the etudes are not only aimed at technical development but also serve as a pedagogical resource that guides the solution of encountered technical problems. In this context, the research aims to examine the technical characteristics of the etudes, which technical problems they support the solution of, and their relationship with other technical resources.
