Özet
IV ÖZET Bu çalışmanın amacı, gömlek üreten farklı konfeksiyon işletmelerinde her bir operasyon için farklı üretim metodlanm inceleyerek metod geliştirme önerilerinde bulunmaktır. Araştırmanın diğer bir amacı da analiz edilen farklı üretim metodlan için standart süreleri ve operasyonlarda en kısa süreli çalışma metodunu belirlemektir. Araştırmada erkek gömleği üreten dört işletme seçilmiştir. Bu işletmelerin dikimhane bölümlerindeki operasyon akışı incelenmiş, metod etüdü yapılarak işçilerin çalışma yöntemleri kaydedilmiş ve iş ölçümüyle operasyon süreleri belirlenmiştir. Bu çalışmalar sırasında operasyonların daha kısa sürede gerçekleştirilebilmesi için metod geliştirme önerilerinde bulunulmuştur. Gözlenen ve önerilen farklı çalışma metodlan seçilen işletmelerden birinde, aym işçiler üzerinde denenmiştir. Ayrıca metod farklılıklarının operasyon süresine etkisi ve süredeki değişimin istatistiksel olarak anlamlı olup olmadığı araştırılmıştır. Araştırmada önerilen metodlar dikimhane bölümünde uygulanan operasyonların sürelerini % 1 ile % 35 arasında değişen oranlarda kısaltmıştır. Saptanan en kısa süreli çalışma metodlarmın uygulanması durumunda, seçilen işletmenin dikimhane bölümünde % 6'lık bir verim artışı sağlanabilecektir Bu artışı sağlayan metod önerileri erkek gömleği üretimine yönelik olup, diğer konfeksiyon ürünleri için de metod geliştirme ve standart zaman saptama çalışmalarının yapılması gerekmektedir.

V ABSTRACT The aim of this study is to analyse different production methods for each operation in several garment plants manufacturing shirts and to offer methods improvement suggestions. Another aim of the study is to determine standart times of operations and methods which provide the shortest cycle times. Four plants manufacturing men's shirt were selected for the study. Operation flows in sewing departments of the plants were reviewed. Working methods of the operators were recorded via method study and standard times were determined by work measuring. During these studies suggestions for method improvements were given in order to provide the shorter operation times. Different working methods, which were observed and suggested, were tought same operators in a selected one of the plants and it was determined whether the effect of method differences on operation times have a significance in statistical respect. The methods, which were suggested during the research, have caused to shorten the times of operations being applied in sewing department in proportions varying from 1% to 35 %. In the event that the working methods of which periods were found shortest are applied, a productivity increase of 6 % shall be provided in the sewing department of the selected plant. The method suggestions providing this increase are toward production of men's shirt and studies should be performed for other types of garments in the future.
