Özet
Eğitim-öğretim sürecinin temel materyallerinden olan ders kitapları öğrenci ve öğretmenler için vazgeçilmezdir. Temel dil becerilerinin kazandırılması ve Türkçe Dersi Öğretim Programı'nın amaçlarına ulaşılması amacı ile derslerde öğrenci ve öğretmenler tarafından Türkçe ders kitapları kullanılmaktadır. Türkçe ders kitapları edebî metinler ve bu metinler ile ilgili etkinliklerden oluşmaktadır. Bu araştırmanın amacı Türkiye Yüzyılı Maarif Modeli ile 2024 yılında değişen Türkçe Dersi Öğretim Programı doğrultusunda yeni programa uygun bir şekilde hazırlanan 5. sınıf Türkçe ders kitaplarındaki metinlerin çocuk edebiyatı metinlerinde bulunması gereken nitelikler açısından incelenmesidir. Çalışma Millî Eğitim Bakanlığı tarafından yayınlanan 2024-2025 eğitim-öğretim yılında ortaokul 5. sınıf seviyesinde okutulan Türkçe ders kitabındaki ana metinler ile sınırlı tutulmuştur. Araştırmada nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden doküman analizi kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın amacına yönelik Yeni Türkçe Dersi Öğretim Programı, Türkçe ders kitapları, çocuk edebiyatı ve çocuk edebiyatı metinlerinin nitelikleri ile ilgili alan yazın taraması yapılmıştır. Yapılan literatür taraması sonucunda çocuk edebiyatı metinlerinin taşıması gereken niteliklerden biçimsel özellikleri sayfa düzeni, harf özellikleri, resim, yazım, imla ve noktalama olarak; içerik özellikleri ise tema, konu, ana düşünce, kahramanlar, dil ve anlatım olarak belirlenmiştir. Araştırmadan elde edilen bulgulara göre incelenen 5. sınıf Türkçe ders kitaplarındaki metinlerin biçimsel olarak yazım, imla ve noktalama açısından eksiklikleri bulunduğu; içerik olarak ise dil ve anlatım yönünden Türkçemizin zenginliklerini yeterince yansıtmadığı tespit edilmiştir.

Textbooks, which are the basic materials of the education-teaching process, are indispensable for students and teachers. Turkish textbooks are used by students and teachers in classes in order to provide basic language skills and achieve the objectives of the Turkish Course Curriculum. Turkish textbooks consist of literary texts and activities related to these texts. The aim of this research is to examine the texts in the 5th grade Turkish textbooks prepared in accordance with the new program in line with the Turkish Course Curriculum changed in 2024 with the Turkey Century Education Model in terms of the qualities that children's literature texts should have. The study was limited to the main texts in the Turkish coursebook taught in the 5th grade level of middle school in the 2024-2025 academic year published by the Ministry of National Education. Document analysis, which is a descriptive scanning model, was used in the research. For the purpose of the research, a literature review was conducted on the New Turkish Course Curriculum, Turkish coursebooks, children's literature and the qualities of children's literature texts. As a result of the literature review, the formal features of the qualities that children's literature texts should have were determined as page layout, letter features, pictures, writing, spelling and punctuation; and the content features were determined as theme, subject, main idea, heroes, language and expression. According to the findings obtained from the research, it was determined that the texts in the 5th grade Turkish textbooks examined had deficiencies in terms of spelling, spelling and punctuation in terms of form; and that they did not sufficiently reflect the richness of our Turkish in terms of language and expression in terms of content.
