Ş.'DE BİR UYGULAMA DENEMESİ Emre AĞIRBAŞ İşletme Ana Bilim Dalı Anadolu Üniversitesi Sosyal Bilimler Enstitüsü, Eylül 2000 Danışman: Doç. Dr. Hasan DURUCASU Üretim yönetimi teknolojileri konusunda son zamanlarda büyük gelişmeler gözlenmiştir. Bu gelişmelerin ardından varılan sonuç, kıt kaynakların gereken zamanda, gereken miktarda ve gereken yerde kullanılmasının gerekliliğidir. Bu amaca ulaşmayı hedefleyen günümüz üretim yönetimi teknolojilerinden birisi de“Yalın Üretim”sistemidir. Yalın Üretim'in genel amacı, gereken miktarda, gereken zamanda, gereken yerde ve istenen kalite ve özelliklerde üretim yapmaktır. Üretim-stok boyutunun ötesinde, iş görenlere verdiği sorumluluk ile verimlilik artışı, kalite kontrolü gibi diğer alanlarda da kendine has uygulamalara sahiptir. Bu çalışmada, başardı bir üretim sistemine ulaşabilmek için, Yalın Üretim sisteminin kullanılabilirliği ve uygulanabilirliği gösterilmiştir.

m ABSTRACT Important developments have been observed recently, about production management technologies. After these developments, the result that have been attained is the necessity to use of scarce resources at the time when needed, the amount how much needed and at the place where needed. One of the production management techniques that intend to reach this goal is 'Lean Production" system. The general purpose of the Lean Production is to produce at the time when needed, the amount how much needed, at the place where needed and with the quality as required. Beyond the production-inventory dimension, Lean Production has particular applications in the areas such as quality control and increase of productivity with the responsibility which is given to workers. In this work, it is pointed out that, to reach a successful production system, the utility and the applicability of Lean Production System.
