Özet (Çeviri)

157 SUMMARY Ismail Hakkı Bursavî, Turkish scholar and sufi of eighteenth century, appears as a very important person in history of science; because of his works which their number is more than hundred he has great important in our history of literature. We should admit that the author, in whose works we can see the east and the ancient Greek philosophy composed with splendidly, was an expert on commentary of texts. When we chose and studied carefully the first book of Yazıcıoğlu's Muhammediye, whic is one of the most bulky eulogies written to Muhammed in Turkish literature, we perceived that how should be understood and explained a text written his verses. The author has written his work sometimes as couplets, sometimes as verses, sometimes as words, and prefered to explain one by one. That he has explained especially word for word, his work has acquired an apperance of dictionary. Bursavî has mentioned in his work a great many scientific branches, from interpretation to hadith, from fiqh to sufism and morals, from astronomy to philosophy, and has shown his knowledge. The number of books of which Bursavî had made use and had sprinkled in his work, is about sixty. Even though most of these works have been written in Arabic, there were also that have been written in Persian anad in Turkish. Şerh-i Muhammediye (Ferahu'r-Ruh), in which unusual and profound universes are opened to the mind and heart, should be read certainly by all who are interested in commentary of sufic texts. 1C YÜKSEKÖCRtTlM KDftGM!
