o/j: i Bu araştırmada öğretmenlerin öğıendU'ie yönelik tutumları, öğrenci güdülenmesi cinsiyet ile sosyo-ekonomik düzeyin etkileri, öğretmenlerin öğrencilere yönelik tulumları <ie öğrenci güdülenmesi arasındaki ilişki inedonmiştir Araştırmaya, İzmir ilinde buLınan iî\.n',piin; okullarında tabakalama yöntemi ile sf;;iL-n 100 öğretmen ve 300 öğrenci kaiı'ı.u:;.t', Araştırma verilen“Tutum Ölçeği”ve“L.'.ışan Güdüsü Ölçeği”ile toplanmıştır. Veri analizi sonucu ulaşılan ba- iıea sonuçlar şunlardır !. Cinsiyetin öğretmen tutumu ve oyvaci güdülenmesi üzerinde önemli bir farklılık göstermediği bulunmuştur. 2. Öğretmen tutumlarının (Öğretmen beklentisi, Öğrenci etkisi, öğrenci başarısı ve öğretmen çabası) öğrencinin sosyo-ekonomik düzeylerine göre anlamlı farklılıklar olduğu saptanmıştır. 3. Öğrencilerin güdülenmesinin (Başarma isteği, çaba, ders çalışma isteği), öğrencilerin sosyo-ekonomik düzeyleri üzerinde anlamlı bir fark yaratmadığı görülmüştür. 4 Öğretmenin öğrencilere yönelik tutumu ile öğrenci güdülenmesinde“Öğretmen beklentisi”ile“”Ders çalışma isteöi".kasnıda önemli bir fark bulunduğu ortaya çıkmıştır.

ABSTRACT The aim of the present research is to investigate the effects of gender and socio - economic levels on teachers' attitudes toward students and student motivation, and the relationships between the teaches' attitudes towards students and the student motivation. Elementary teachers (n=100) and students (n-30u) working in İzmir Schools have pan;>*.ipated in the study. Research data were gathered by the“Attitude Scale”and 'Achievement Motivation Scale". The main results of the data analysis are: 1. It is seen that gender doesn't significantly effect teachers' attitudes and student motivation. 2. Tt is found that, in accordance with the socio - economic position of the student, there is a considerable difference in teacher's attitudes with respect to the teacher expectation, student effect and teacher effort. 3. Achievement motivation, a considerable difference is noticed in the case of the effect of socio - economic position on student's studying interest. 4. It is not found a considerable relationship between the teacher's conduct of the students and the student motivation.
