Özet
8. ÖZET Bu çalışmada İstanbul'un çeşitli semtlerindeki su satış istasyonlarından toplanan 300 adet su numunesi genel mikrobiyolojik ve bazı kimyasal özellikler yönünden incelenmiştir. Elde edilen analiz sonuçlarına göre numunelerin %6'sı mikrobiyolojik yönden %29'u kimyasal yönden standart dışı bulunurken toplamda bu oran %35 olmuştur. Standart dışı numune soğuk aylarda %25 iken sıcak aylarda ise %50 olmuştur. İncelenen su örnekleri standartlara göre tek tek kriterler yönünden değerlendirildiğinde standart dışı numune sayısı en çok pH (%15), renk-görünüş (%11) ve koliform grubu bakteriler (%6) yönünden olmuştur. Saflık dereceleri yönünden sınırlandırıldıklarında %77'si çok yumuşak (0-7°F), %22'si de yumuşak (7-1 5°F) su olarak tespit edilmiştir. Bazı patojenler yönünden incelenen 50 adet su numunesi Salmonella, E.coli ve Fekal koliformlar yönünden negatif çıkarken 4 adet numunede Ps.aeruginosa tespit edilmiştir. 56

9. SUMMARY In this study, 300 water samples, collected from water selling sta tions in various regions of Istanbul, were determined for their general micro biologic and chemical specifications. According to the analysis results, total 35% of the samples was de termined out of standards while 6% of the samples was out of standard for their microbiological specifications and 29% of the samples was out for their chemi cal specifications. The number of samples out of standard was 50% in hot months, while it is 25% in cold months. When the determined water samples were evaluated according to the standards separately, the number of the samples out of standard was mostly for their pH (15%), colour and appearance (11%) and the number of coliform group bacteria (6%). When they were classified for their hardness degree, 77% was determined as very soft water (0-7°F), 22% was determined as soft water (7- 15°F). 50 water samples investigated for some pathogenic bacteria were determined as negative for Salmonella, E.coli and Fecal coliform while Ps.aurogens were determined in 4 of the samples. 57
