Özet
ÖZET“1884-1918 Yılları Arasında Türk Edebiyatında Polisiye Roman”başlıklı yüksek lisans tezinin yapılış amacı, Türk Edebiyatında polisiye tür var mıdır, yok mudur ? tartış masına cevap vermek değildir. Türk Edebiyatında polisiye tür konusunda yapılmış çalışmaların sayısı azken, böyle bir tartışmaya katılmak tuhaf olacaktır. Bu çalışma, Batı edebiyatı özellikleri doğrultusunda oluşan yeni Türk Edebi yatı içerisinde, 'polisiye roman' sayılabilecek eserleri ortaya çıkararak, bu eserleri 'polisiye' özellikleri açısından incelemektir.“1884-1918 Yılları Arasında Türk Edebiyatında Polisiye Roman”çalışmasının“Giriş”bölümünde, polisiye türün özellikleri ve polisiye sayılabilecek eserlerin isimlendirilmelerinde dikkat edilmesi gereken noktalar üzerinde duruldu. 'Polisiye' türün özelliklerinin ayrıntılı ele alınma sının nedeni, romanların incelendiği konularla ilgili soru işaretleri kalmasına engel olmaktır. İçinde cinayet ve esrar unsurları barındıran her romana 'polisiye roman' denilmesi de bir hatadır. O yüzden, 'polisiye roman başlığının kendi içinde ayrıldığı bölümler birer birer anlatılarak, isimlendirilme konusuna açıklık getirildi. Giriş bölümünde son olarak, kısaca, Batı' da ve bizde polisiye türün başlan gıcı ve gelişimi anlatıldı. Batı 'da polisiye türü anlatılırken, tarihte meydana gelen ve toplum yapısında değişimlere yol açan olaylarla birlikte ele alındı.Birinci bölüm,, Türk toplumunda ve Türk edebiyatında büyük değişimlere neden olan Tanzîmat Fermanı 'nın ilanıyla başlıyor. Türk toplum yaşantısının ve Türk edebiyatının Batı çizgisinde ilerlemeye başlamasıdır Tanzîmat dönemi. Türk edebiyatında ilk polisiye roman sayılan, Ahmed Midhat Efendi 'nin“Esrlr-ı Cinâyât”isimli eseri anlatılarak, polisi ye roman yazan dönemin yazarlarının etkilendikleri noktalar belirtildi. Etkilenilen noktalar içinde, hem kendi sözlü edebiyat ürünleri hem de Batı' dan tercüme edilmiş eserler vardır. 33. Osmanlı padişahı 2. Abdülhamid, polisiye ve ma cera romanlarına olan düşüknlüğü ve yabancı dillerden ter cüme ettirdiği altı binden fazla polisiye-macera türü romanlarla yer aldı bu çalışmada. Bundan sonra gelen Uç bölümde, Tanzîmat, Servfet-i Fü- nûn ve Milli Edebiyat, bulunan romanlar, giriş bölümünde belirtilen 'polisiyetür' özelliklerine göre incelendi. Dönemlerin tarihî ve topluma ait ayrıntıları ele alındı. Tan zîmat ile başlayıp Millî Edebiyat dönemine dek getirilen polisiye romanlarda, zaman içerisinde eserlerin kurgusunda mey dana gelen değişim üzerinde de duruldu.

Detective Stories In Turkish Literature Between The Years 1884-1918 SUMMARY The performance aim of the higher licence thesis with the title“Detective Stories In Turkish Literature Between The Years 1884-1918”is not giving a reply to the discussion if there is a detective story type present in Turkish Literature or not. While the studies being performed on the subject of detective stories in Turkish Literature are too less in number; I believe that it will be strange to enter into such a discussion. This -study; within the new Turkish Literature being formed in accordance with the West Literature; examines the examples from the point of their detective story qualifications by eliminating the ones to be counted as“detective stories”. Within the Introduction Chapter of the study“Detective Stories In Turkish Literature Between The Years 1884-1918”; it has been dwelled upon the specifications of detective story type and upon the points to be taken into consideration in the naming of works to be counted as“detective stories”. The reason of taking into consideration, the specifications of“detective story”type in detail is to avoid leaving question marks about the subjects that the novels have being examined. It is really a mistake to call every novel including murder and mystery elements within; a“detective story”. For this reason, the chapters that the title“detective story”is divided within itself are explained one by one and the subject of naming has been put to light. In the Introduction Chapter, lastly, the beginning of detective story type and its development within West and us has been explained briefly. The First Chapter begins with the declaration of Reform Command that leaded to great changes both in Turkish Public and Turkish Literature. The Reform Period is the development of Turkish public life and Turkish Literature in the West line. The works of Ahmed Midhat Efendi named“Secrets of A Murder”(“Esrar-ı Ciriayât”. that has been considered the first detective story example has been told and the authors of that period who deal with detective stories influence points are being explained. Within these influence points both their own oral literature products and works translated from the West are present. 33ra Ottoman Sultan II nci Abdülhamid, took place within this study by his poverty to detective and adventure novels and over six thousand detective- adventure type novels that he had made to be translated from foreign languages. Within the Third Chapter, taking place after this; the novels found in the periods of Reform, Wealth of Science and National Literature are examined in accordance with the specifications of“detective story”mentioned within the Introduction Chapter. Thequalifications required to be present in a detective story are listed and the presence of these qualifications in each period or unpresence has been checked. Within the detective stories beginning from the period of National Literature, the changes in the subjects and constructions of the novels as time passes has been explained.
