Özet
Zâhidlik İslam'ın ana karakteristiğini oluşturmaktadır. Zâhidlik ve derin dindarlık tasavvufun ana meselelerinden olması sebebiyle zühdü sadece sûfîlere nispet etme eğilimi olsa da İslam toplumunda zühd hiçbir zaman tek bir topluluk tarafından temsil edilmemiştir. Akademik araştırmalarda zühdü tasavvuf ile özdeşleştirmek ve zühdü konu edinen eserleri tasavvuf ilminin bir parçası saymak genel kanaattir. Bunun örneklerinden biri, Kitabü'z-Zühd literatürüdür. Zühd ve ibadet merkezli metinler olması sebebiyle tasavvuf disiplinine dâhil edilmiş veya onun uzantısı olan metinler olarak değerlendirilmişlerdir. Bu literatürün en önemli örneklerinden biri de Abdullah b. Mübârek'e ait olan Kitabü'z-Zühd'dür. Problematiğimiz erken dönem zühd tartışması olması hasebiyle sûfî-zâhidlerin ayırt edici özellikleri tespit edilmiştir. Abdullah b. Mübârek'in eserindeki zühd anlayışı sûfî-zâhidlerin zühd tasavvuru ile mukayeseli bir şekilde ortaya konmuştur. Sûfî-zâhidlerin temel özellikleri doğrultusunda İbnü'l-Mübârek'in Kitabü'z-Zühd'ünün tasavvuf ilmi ile ilişkisi, eserin gerçek muhatapları ve İbnü'l-Mübârek'in zühd tasavvurunun sınırları tespit edilmeye çalışılmıştır.

Asceticism is a central characteristic of Islam. Although there is a tendency to attribute asceticism only to Sufis because asceticism and deep piety are the main concerns of Sufism, asceticism has never been represented by a single community in Islamic society. In academic studies, it is a general opinion to identify asceticism with Sufism and to consider works on asceticism as part of the science of Sufism. One example of this is the literature of Kitab al-Zuhd. Since they are texts centered on asceticism and worship, they have been included in the discipline of Sufism or considered as texts that are an extension of it. One of the most important examples of this literature is Abdullah b. It is the Kitab al-Zuhd that belonged to Mubarak. Since our problematic is the early period zuhd debate, the distinguishing characteristics of Sufis and ascetics were identified. Abdullah b. The understanding of asceticism in Mubārek's work is presented in a comparative manner with the concept of asceticism of Sufi ascetics. In line with the basic characteristics of Sufi ascetics, the relationship of Ibn al-Mubarak's Kitab al-Zuhd with the science of Sufism, the real addressees of the work and the limits of Ibn al-Mubarak's conception of asceticism have been tried to be determined.
