Özet
Amaç: Bu araştırmada profesyonel voleybolcuların voleybol branşına yönelmesinde aile, çevre ve toplum unsurlarının etkisinin araştırılması amaçlanmıştır. Materyal ve Metot: Araştırmada nicel araştırma yöntemlerimden betimsel tarama yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Araştırma evrenini 2022-2023 sezonunda Türkiye Efeler liginde mücadele eden 14 takım ve 187 sporcu oluşturmaktadır. Örneklemi, power analiz sonucunda yeterli görülen 10 takım ve 128 elit voleybolcu oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmada veri toplama aracı olarak Kişisel Bilgi Formu ve voleybola başlama nedenlerini belirlemek amacıyla üç bölümden oluşan ölçek ile veriler elde edilmiştir. Araştırma bulguları IBM SPSS 25 Paket Programı kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir. Bulgular: Efeler liginde elit voleybolcuların voleybola başlama nedenlerine bakıldığında voleybolcuların yaş değişkenlerine göre branşsa yönelmesinde etki eden unsurlarda teşvik, uğraşma ve beklenti boyutlarında istatistiksel açıdan anlamlı bir farklılık olmadığı tespit edilmiş p>0.05; voleybolcuların ailede sporla uğraşan birey durumu değişkenlerine göre spora teşvik boyutunda istatistiksel açıdan anlamlı bir farklılık olduğu p<0.01, voleybolcuların ailede sporla uğraşan birey durumu değişkenlerine göre sporla uğraş ve spordan beklenti boyutunda istatistiksel açıdan anlamlı bir farklılık olmadığı p>0.05; voleybolcuların spora başlama yaşlarına göre sporla teşvik boyutunda istatistiksel açıdan anlamlı bir farklılık olduğu p<0.01, sporla uğraş ve sporda beklenti boyutunda istatistiksel açıdan anlamlı bir farklılığın olmadığı p>0.05; sporda teşvik boyutu ile spordan beklenti boyutu arasında pozitif yönlü anlamlı bir ilişki olduğu (r:0.324; p<0.01), sporla uğraş boyutu ile spordan beklenti boyutu arasında pozitif yönlü anlamlı bir ilişki bulunmuştur (r:0.664; p<0.01). Sonuç: Araştırma sonucunda erkekler voleybol efeler liginde oynayan elit sporcuların voleybol branşına yönelmesinde aile, çevre ve toplum faktörlerinin etkisi olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.

Aim: The aim of the study, it was aimed to investigate the effect of family, environment and community factors on the orientation of professional volleyball players towards volleyball. Material and Method: Descriptive screening method, one of the quantitative research methods, was used in the research. The research universe consists of 14 teams and 187 athletes competing in the Turkish Efeler league in the 2022-2023 season. The sample consists of 10 teams and 128 elite volleyball players who were deemed sufficient as a result of the power analysis. In the research, data were obtained with a Personal Information Form as a data collection tool and a scale consisting of three parts in order to determine the reasons for starting volleyball. The research findings were analyzed using IBM SPSS 25 Package Program. Results: When the reasons why elite volleyball players in Efeler league started volleyball were examined, it was determined that there was no statistically significant difference in the dimensions of encouragement, dealing and expectation in the factors affecting the orientation to the branch according to the age variables of the volleyball players p>0.05; There is a statistically significant difference in the dimension of encouragement to sports according to the variables of the status of the individual engaged in sports in the family of the volleyball players p<0.01, there is no statistically significant difference in the dimension of engagement in sports and expectation from sports according to the variables of the individual engaged in sports in the family of the volleyball players p>0.05; there is a statistically significant difference in the dimension of encouragement to sports according to the age of the volleyball players p<0.01, there was no statistically significant difference in the dimension of sports engagement and expectations in sports p>0.05; there was a significant positive relationship between the dimension of sports encouragement and expectations in sports (r: 0.324; p<0.01), and there was a significant positive relationship between the dimension of sports engagement and expectations in sports (r: 0.664; p<0.01). Conclusion: As a result of the research, it was concluded that family, environment and society factors have an effect on the tendency of elite athletes playing in men's volleyball Efeler League towards volleyball branch.
