Özet

Multi-hazard loadings have a important impact on the presentation of high-rise structures in footings of resilience and serviceability. Wind and earthquake multi-hazard loadings naturally cause large vibrations in tall structures. Tall structures can be harmed by these vibrations, which can have a significant influence on their safety and operation. Several vibration suppression technologies are studied in the current study to lessen these vibrations. A TMD inhabited a 76-story benchmark building, and its presentation below multi-hazard conditions was investigated. Under wind loadings, the TMD is particularly successful in lowering extreme displacements of the highest levels of the structure by 28.6% and the quickening response by 31.25 percent. With the installation of the TMD, the extreme shear force at ground level is dropped by 27.2 percent, and the normal nonconformity of shear force is condensed by 41.6 percent. Similarly, at the ground floor, the extreme and standard eccentricity of the total bending moment are dropped by 20% then 40%. The TMD has been shown elect beneficial now decreasing the impacts of gust in the structures. Different wind loads, which tend to stimulate inferior styles of vibration, seismic activity tend to stimulate greater styles of vibration, and lengthy seismic activity can cause considerable injury to the building's interior elements (non-structural components). TMD decreased the maximum movement of the upper floor by 25% and the normal variation of movement via 11% under seismic loadings. The TMD has no discernible influence on the building's total acceleration, base shear power, or total turning instant.

Özet (Çeviri)

The construction of high-rise structures has resulted from an increase in population and migration to cities. Because of its economic, environmental, and other benefits, high-rise structures have reawakened interest in many metropolitan commercial sites where land is limited. Everywhere in the world, taller and taller structures are being constructed. However, the rising frequency of multihazard events makes balancing a robust and sustainable structure difficult. 'With new inventions come new challenges,' as the adage goes. Increased wind loads, such as those caused by hurricanes, can pose problems for high-rise structures, reducing their serviceability and causing structural failure. Though floor speeding up caused by wind loads are less severe than individuals caused by earthquakes are, they last a long period, posing relief and serviceability concerns. Inter story drifts under wind loads, on the other hand, might pose a security risk. The findings of this thesis suggest that wind-resistant high-rise and thin structures may be safe. Wind-dampening devices are used in tall buildings to reduce wind impacts. The concert of a tuned mass damper (TMD) under wind is investigated in this thesis. The effectiveness of viscous dampers in decreasing WIND impacts is also examined. The current study's major goal was to gain a better sympathetic of the influence of multi-hazard charging caused via wind on the conduct of tall structures so that it might be used to design.
