Özet
IX- ÖZET Bu tezin amacı taşıtlardaki yakıt sarfiyatına etki eden faktörlerin bilgisayar vasıtasıyla incelenip etkilerinin açığa çıkarılmasıdır. Taşıtta yakıt sarfiyatına etki eden birçok faktör vardır. Bu faktörler ayrı ayrı incelenip sonuçlan irdelenmiştir. Tezin hazırlanması esnasında seçilmiş olan motorun performans eğrilerine ihtiyaç duyulmuş ve deneysel sonuçlar veri olarak bilgisayar programında kullanılmıştır. Bu veriler, yolda yapılan deneysel sonuçlar ile karşılaştırılmıştır ve arasındaki farkların nedenleri araştırılmıştır. Tezin sonuçlarından yola çıkarak bir taşıtta yakıt sarfiyatının azaltılması için alınması gereken önlemlerin ne oldukları bulunmuştur. Araç yapısı, motor performansı, ve sürücü gibi gruplara ayrılarak bu guruplar altında yakıt sarfiyatının azaltılması için gereken önlemler oluşturulmuştur.

-X- ABSTRACT The aim of this thesis is to find out the different factors which affect to the fuel consumption in vehicles and research all these effects by computer. In vehicles there are many factors which affects to fuel consumption. These factors are studied in this thesis and the solutions are examined. In the preparation of the thesis it is needed to performance curves of the engine which is selected and the data of the curves of this engine are used in the computer programme. These data have been compared by the practical solutions which have been done in the road tests and it has been searching for the difference of these solutions. The solutions of the computer program are important references to decrease the fuel consumption in vehicles. In that case it is concluded by exposing the precautions which can help about less fuel consumption. These precautions are classiffied by the format of the vehicle, engine performance and the effects of drivers and these factors are examined and it is said what can be done in for each effect.
