Özet
Bu tez çalışmasında, teknokültürü anlamak ve iletişim teknolojileri çerçevesinde anlamlandırmak amaçlandırılmıştır. Bu bağlamda, teknokültürel temsillerde görünür hale gelen kültürel ikiliklerin ortaya çıkarılması amaçlanmıştır. Tez kapsamında, tarih öncesinden insan sonrasına uzanan teknokültürel dönüşümler kronolojik bir biçimde açımlanmıştır. Alanyazından hareketle, birey ve ekosistem arasındaki ikilikler üzerinden teknokültür incelenmiştir. Bu bağlamda, bu tez çalışmasında teknokültürel habitusta öne çıkan karşıtlıklar, bir temsil örneklemi olarak bilim kurgu serileri üzerinden ve özellikle bilgi iletişim teknolojileri çerçevesinde analize tabi tutulmuştur. Çalışmanın birinci bölümünde, bilgi iletişim teknolojileri merkezinde teknokültürel evrim süreci incelenmeye alınmıştır. Kültürün kendisinin teknokültürel olduğu savunusundan hareketle, insanlığın kültür tarihi teknolojik gelişimler eşliğinde anlaşılmaya çalışılmıştır. İkinci bölümde ise, teknokültürde bireyin temsilinin üzerine ontolojik, anlatısal ve ötekilik bağlamında eğilinmiştir. İkinci bölüm, teknolojik dönüşümlerin bireye, benlik sunumlarına ve etkileşimlerine olan etkileri alanyazın kapsamında incelemeye alınmıştır. Tezin üçüncü bölümü ise literatür çerçevesinde araştırmaya ayrılmıştır. Tez çalışmasının araştırmasını bilimkurgu dizileri oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmanın yöntemi tematik içerik analizidir. Araştırmada oluşturulan kod cetveli ileriki çalışmalarda kullanılabilir.

In this thesis study, it is aimed to understand technoculture and to make sense of it within the framework of communication technologies. In this context, to reveal the cultural dualities that become visible in technocultural representations is aimed. Within the scope of the thesis, technocultural transformations from prehistory to post-human are explained chronologically. Based on the literature, technoculture has been examined through the dichotomies between the individual and the ecosystem. In this context, in this thesis, the contrasts that stand out in technocultural habitus have been analyzed as a representative sample through science fiction series and especially within the framework of information communication technologies. In the first part of the study, the technocultural evolution process in the center of information and communication technologies was examined. Based on the argument that culture itself is technocultural, the cultural history of humanity has been tried to be understood in the context of technological developments. In the second part, the representation of the individual in technoculture is focused based on ontological, narrative and otherness. In the second part, the effects of technological transformations on the individual, self-presentations and interactions are examined within the scope of the literature. The third part of the thesis is devoted to research within the framework of the literature. The research of the thesis study consists of science fiction series. The method of the research is thematic content analysis. The code scale created in the research can be used in future studies.
