Özet
Pandemi sürecindeki ortaöğretim öğrencilerinin kaygı düzeylerinin incelendiği bu çalışmada cinsiyet, sınıf düzeyi, okul türü, anne-baba eğitim durumu, okul dışı destek alma gibi çevresel ve bireysel faktörlerin matematik kaygısına etkisini araştırırken bir yandan da ortamsal faktör olan uzaktan eğitimin matematik kaygısına etkisi araştırılmıştır. Araştırmada nicel ve nitel yöntemlerle birlikte karma araştırma modeli kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın örneklemi 2019-2020 ve 2020-2021 eğitim öğretim yılı Ege Bölgesi'nin nüfus bakımından büyük bir ilçesinde lisede öğrenim gören toplam 591 öğrenciden oluşmaktadır. Araştırmada Kişisel Bilgiler Formu (KBF) ile Matematik Kaygısı Ölçeği (MKÖ) ve araştırmacı tarafından geliştirilen Yapılandırılmış Görüşme Formu (YGF) kullanılmıştır. Pandemi öncesi ve pandemi süreci öğrencilerinin matematik kaygı puanlarının bağımsız değişkenlere göre farklılaşıp farklılaşmadığı SPSS programında bağımsız örneklemlerde t-testi, tek yönlü ANOVA ve ANCOVA testleri ile belirlenmiştir. Öğrencilerin matematik kaygı puanları sınıf düzeyi, cinsiyet, okul türü değişkenlerine göre anlamlı farklılık gösterirken okul dışı destek alma, anne ve baba eğitim durumlarına göre anlamlı farklılık göstermemektedir. Nitel kısımda ise öğrencilerin matematik dersinde başarısız ve kaygılı hissetme nedenleri ile pandemi sürecindeki uzaktan eğitimin matematik başarısına ve kaygısına etkisine ilişkin görüşleri alınmıştır. Öğrencilerin başarısızlığına ve kaygısına neden olan etmenlere çoğunlukla benzer ifadeleri yazdıkları görülmüştür. Ayrıca öğrenci görüşlerine göre pandemi sürecindeki uzaktan eğitim matematik kaygılarını matematik başarılarına oranla daha fazla etkilemiştir.

In this study, which examined the anxiety levels of high school students during the pandemic process, the effect of environmental and individual factors such as gender, class level, school type, parental education status, and out-of-school support on mathematics anxiety was investigated, while the effect of distance education, which is an environmental factor, on mathematics anxiety. In the research, Mixed Research Model was used together with quantitative and qualitative methods. The sample of there search consists of 591 high school students who study in a big town in the Aegean Region during 2019-2020 and 2020-2021 academic years. In this study“Personal Information Form”with“Mathematics Anxiety Scale”and“Structured Interview Form”developed by there searcher were used to collect data. Whether students' pre-pandemic and post-pandemic mathematics anxiety scores have differed or not according to the independent variables has been determined with Independent Sample t-Test, One- Way ANOVA and ANCOVA in SPSS program. The results have revealed that students' mathematics anxiety scores have differed significantly according to the variables of classroom level, gender, school type while they don't differ significantly according to the variables of out-of-schoolsupport, the education level of students' mother and father. In the qualitative part of the research students opinions were asked for the reasons why students feel unsuccessful in maths lesson and the effect of on-line education during pandemic process on students success. It has seen that students generally wrote the same expressions whicheffect their mathematics failure and anxiety. Besides this it has seen that according to the students' opinions on-line education during pandemic process has effected math anxiety more than math success.
