Özet
Finansal analiz, işletmelerin finansal durumu ve finansal açıdan gelişiminin yeterli olup olmamasının incelenmesine olanak sağlayan, finansal tablo kalemlerinde gerçekleşen değişimler ve bu değişimler neticesinde ortaya çıkan sonuçların incelenmesi ve yorumlanmasını kapsamaktadır. Finansal tabloların analizi ile işletmelerin cari dönem ve geçmiş dönem finansal durumları değerlendirilmektedir. İşletmelerin finansal durumu ve gerçekleştirdiği faaliyetleri ile gerçekleştirmeyi planladığı faaliyetlerinin daha etkin olabilmesi için işletmelerin sahip olduğu güçlü ve zayıf yönleri ve karşılaşılabilecek fırsat ve tehditlerin belirlenmesi açısından önem teşkil etmektedir. Finansal analizde amaç, işletmenin gelişme seyrini gözlemleyebilmek, aynı sektörde faaliyet gösteren diğer şirketlerle karşılaştırabilmek, kredi kurum ve kuruluşlarına ödeme gücü hakkında detaylı bilgiler sunabilmek, gelecek yatırım planları ile ilgili karar vermek ve cari dönem ile geçmiş dönem verileri arasında kıyas yapabilmektir. Bu çalışma kapsamında gıda sektöründe faaliyet gösteren üç işletmenin finansal tablolarının analizi ile performans karşılaştırması yapılmaya çalışılmıştır.

Financial analysis allows an examination of the financial situation of companies' and their financial is sufficient, and covers interpretation of the changes in the items of the financial statements and the results arising as a result of the changes. By financial statement analysis, the financial position of the enterprises fort he current period and the past periods is evaluated. The financial situation of companies, their activities and the future plans ,for become more effective, in terms of strengths and weakness, opportunities and threats for the future can be identified. The purpose of financial statment analysis, to observe of the development of the business, to be able to compare with other companies in the same sector, to be able to offer detailed information about the solvency to credit institutions, to decide on future investment plans, and to make a comparison between the data of the previous periods and the current period. In this study, an analysis of the financial statements of three companies operating in food sector and the financial performance comparison have been studied.
