Özet
Sosyal konut, mimarlık araştırmalarında her zaman önemli bir konu olmuştur. Son yıllarda, sürdürülebilirlik söyleminin ortaya çıkmasıyla birlikte, sosyal konut, dünya çapında önde gelen araştırma tartışmalarından biri haline geldi. Kendine özgü yerel etkilerle küresel olarak mevcut olan sosyal konut, Faslılar arasında da bir tartışma konusu haline geldi. Bağımsızlıktan bu yana, Fas'ta sosyal konut, konut memnuniyeti ile ilgili çok sayıda soru ortaya çıkaran büyük değişikliklere tanık oldu. Genel olarak, konut memnuniyeti üç ana faktör tarafından belirlenebilir. İlk faktör - fiziksel çevre - bir yerleşim alanı içinde sağlanan tesisler ve somut özellikleri ifade eder. İkinci - sosyal faktör, ikamet eden kişinin topluluğu içindeki aidiyet duygusu ve sosyal destek anlamına gelir. Üçüncü - kişisel faktör, ev sahipliği (mülk) ve yerleşik bir ailenin kültürüne ve yaşam tarzına uygunluğu ile ilgilidir. Bu tezin amacı, yukarıda bahsedilen üç faktörün Fas'taki konut memnuniyeti üzerindeki etkisini incelemektir. Bu tez, bağımsızlıktan sonra Kazablanka şehrinde meydana gelen sosyal konut düzeyindeki değişiklikleri takiben, hem kamu hem de özel sektör tarafından inşa edilen konutların, sakinlerin isteklerini ne ölçüde karşıladığını incelemeyi amaçlamaktadır. Bu tezdeki veri toplama, hem teorik araştırma hem de saha çalışmasından oluşan çoklu yöntem yaklaşımına dayanmaktadır. Teorik araştırma sırasında toplanan veriler, Kazablanka'daki Hay Mohammadi'deki“Nid D'Abeille”sakinlerinin 50 sakini ile bir anket ve yarı yapılandırılmış bir görüşmeden oluşan vaka çalışmasından elde edilen bilgilerle birleştirilecektir. Vaka çalışmasının sonuçları, teorik arka planla birlikte, konut memnuniyetinin çeşitli fiziksel, sosyal ve kişisel faktörlere nasıl ve ne ölçüde bağlı olduğunu ortaya koyacaktır.

Social housing has always been an important topic in the architectural and urban research. Over the last decades, with the emergence of sustainability discourse, social housing became one of the leading research discussions worldwide. Globally present topic, with distinctive local influences, social housing has become a subject of arguments among Moroccans, as well. Since the independence, social housing in Morocco has witnessed major changes, opening numerous questions related to the residential satisfaction. In general, residential satisfaction can be determined by three main factors. The first factor which is physical environment refers to the facilities and tangible features provided within a residential area. The second, social factor, stands for the sense of belonging and social support within a resident's community. The third which is personal factor, relates to the home ownership (property) and its compliance to the culture and lifestyle of a resident family. The purpose of this thesis is to examine the impact that the three above-mentioned factors may have on residential satisfaction in Morocco. Following the changes in the social housing level that have occurred in the city of Casablanca after the independence, this thesis aims to examine whether houses built by both public and private sector satisfy the aspirations of the residents and to which extent. The data collection in this thesis is based on a multiple-methods approach consisted of both theoretical research and field work. The data collected during the theoretical research will be combined with the knowledge gained from the conducted case study – a questionnaire and a semi-structured interview with 50 residents of the“Nid D'Abeill”in Hay Mohammadi in Casablanca. The results of the case study, along with the theoretical background will present how and to which extent is the residential satisfaction co-depended on a variety of physical, social and personal factors.
