Özet
Çalışmanın amacı hastanede çalışan çocuk gelişimcilerin çalışma ortamlarının değerlendirilmesidir. Çalışmanın amacı doğrultusunda hastanede çalışan 32 çocuk gelişimcinin çalışma ortamlarına yönelik görüşleri incelenmiştir. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu, Türkiye'de devlet hastanelerinde çalışan gönüllü çocuk gelişimciler oluşturmuştur. Çalışma verileri araştırmacı tarafından hazırlanan Kişisel Bilgi Formu ve açık uçlu on iki sorudan oluşan Görüşme Soruları ile elde edilmiştir. Nitel araştırma tekniklerine bağlı kalınarak yapılan çalışmada bütüncül tek durum deseni kullanılmıştır. Tanımlayıcı verilerin analizinde ortalama, yüzde ve standart sapma, nitel verilerin analizinde ise betimsel analiz yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Katılımcıların cevapları değerlendirildiğinde, çocuk gelişimcilerin çalışma ortamlarının ideal koşullara sahip olmadığı, yatan hasta servislerinde çocukların hastane yaşantısına, ameliyat ve ameliyat sonrasına hazırlanması konusunda çalışmalar yapılmadığı belirlenmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda hastanelerde çalışan çocuk gelişimcilerin sayılarının arttırılması, hastanelere oyun odalarının düzenlenmesi çocuk gelişimciler tarafından çocukların hastane yaşantısına hazırlık ve uyum sürecini kolaylaştırmaya yönelik çalışmaların planlanması önerilmektedir.

The study aims to evaluate the working environment of child development professionals working in the hospital. The purpose of this study was to examine the opinions of 32 child development professionals working in the hospital about the working environment. The study group of the research consisted of volunteer child development professionals working in public hospitals in Turkey. The study's data was obtained with the Personal Information Form prepared by the researcher and the Interview Questions consisting of twelve open-ended questions. The holistic single case design was used in the study, which was carried out adhering to qualitative research techniques. Mean, percentage and standard deviation were used in the analysis of descriptive data, and descriptive analysis method was used in the analysis of qualitative data. When the answers of the participants were evaluated, it was concluded that the working environments of the child development specialists did not have ideal conditions, there was no preparation of children for hospital life, surgery and post-surgery in inpatient services. As a result of the research, it is suggested that the number of child development specialists working in hospitals should be increased, playrooms should be organized in hospitals, and studies should be planned by child development experts to facilitate the preparation and adaptation process of children to.
