Özet
Araştırma oral kemoterapi alan hastalarda hastalık algısı ve tedaviye uyumun değerlendirilmesi amacıyla tanımlayıcı ve kesitsel tasarım ile yapılmıştır. Araştırma Gazi Üniversitesi Sağlık Araştırma ve Uygulama Merkezi Gazi Hastanesi Tıbbi Onkoloji Bilim dalı onkoloji polikliniğine başvuran oral kemoterapi alan 90 hasta ile tamamlanmıştır. Araştırmanın uygulanması için gerekli etik komisyon, kurumsal izinler ve hastalardan sözel/yazılı onam alınmıştır. Verilerin toplanmasında Birey Bilgi Formu, Hastalık Algısı Ölçeği (HAÖ) ve Oral Kemoterapi Uyum Ölçeği (OKUÖ) kullanılmıştır. Verilerin değerlendirilmesinde tanımlayıcı istatistiklerle birlikte Independent Sample-t , ANOVA, Mann-Whitney U testleri kullanılmıştır. Verilerin değerlendirilmesinde anlamlılık seviyesi ise p<0,05 kabul edilmiştir. Hastalık algısı ölçek değerlendirilmesinde hastaların kişisel kontrol algısı (20,53±3,23) ve sonuçlar algısı (21,39±4,05) puan ortalaması yüksek bulunmuştur. Hastalığı anlayabilme (9,43±2,25) puan ortalaması düşük bulunmuştur. Hastaların hastalığını kontrol edebileceği inancına sahip olmakla birlikte hastalığın negatif sonuçlarının olduğunu düşündükleri ve hastalığı tam olarak anlayamadıkları belirlenmiştir. Hastalığının kronik olduğunu düşünen, hastalığın negatif sonuçlarının olduğuna inanan bireylerde tedavi uyumu daha düşük saptanmıştır (p<0,05). Araştırmada elde edilen sonuçlar doğrultusunda hastaların tedaviye uyumlarını artırabilmek için hastalık algısının olumlu yönde güçlendirilmesine yönelik eğitim ve danışmanlık yapılması önerilir.

The study was conducted with a descriptive and cross-sectional design with the aim of evaluating the perception of disease and compliance with the treatment in the patients receiving the oral chemotherapy. The research was completed with 90 patients who applied to Gazi University Health Research and Application Center, Gazi Hospital Medical Oncology Department, oncology outpatient clinic. The necessary ethical commission, institutional permissions and verbal / written consent from the patients were obtained for the implementation of the study. Individual Information Form, Disease Perception Scale (DPS) and Oral Chemotherapy Adherence Scale (OCAS) were used in the process of collecting the data. Independent Sample-t, ANOVA, and Mann-Whitney U tests were used in the process of collecting the data. In the evaluation of the data, the significance level was accepted as p <0,05. In the evaluation of the disease perception scale, the patients' perception of personal control (20.53 ± 3.23) and the perception of results (21.39 ± 4.05) were found to be high. The point average of understanding the disease (9.43 ± 2.25) was found to be low. Although the patients had the belief that they could control their disease, it was determined that they thought the disease had negative consequences and that they could not completely understand the disease. The treatment compliance was found to be lower in the individuals who thought their disease was chronic and who believed that the disease had negative consequences (p <0,05). In the line with the results obtained in the study, it is recommended to provide the patients with the training and the consultancy aimed at making the illness perception stronger positively to increase their compliance with the treatment.
