Özet
Mekan kimliği ve kullanıcı kimliği birçok faktör ile birlikte birbirini etkilemektedir. Eğitim mekanları ise bireyin kendini var etme sürecindeki rolü sayesinde bu etkileşimin baskın olarak gözlemlendiği mekanlar özelliğini taşımaktadır. Bu çalışmada, bireysel varoluşun mekanın varoluşu üzerindeki ve mekansal varlığın bireyin varoluşu üzerindeki etkileri incelenmektedir.Bu amaç doğrultusunda birinci bölümde, çalışmanın amaç ve kapsamının belirlenmesi sağlanarak çalışılacak sınırlar çizilmiştir. Eser metninin oluşum sürecinde izlenecek olan yöntem yine bu bölüm aracılığıyla sunulmuştur. Çalışmanın anahtar kavram ve tanımlarının açıklandığı ikinci bölümde, mekan ve kimlik kavramları farklı disiplinler çerçevesinde incelenmiştir. Ayrıca çalışmanın ana karakterlerinden olan eğitim mekanları ve bu mekanların tarihsel süreci tanımlanmıştır. Üçüncü bölümde eğitim mekanları ve kullanıcı kimliğini etkileyen faktörler incelenmiştir. Bu bağlamda kimlik türleri, mekansal algı ve kendini var etme sürecinde eğitim mekanlarının etkisi karşılaştırmalı olarak ele alınmıştır. Dördüncü bölümde ise önceki bölümlerde verilen tanım ve analizler ışığında, Mimar Sinan Güzel Sanatlar Üniversitesi Merkez Binası incelenmiştir. İnceleme sonrası sonuç bölümünde ise; Eğitim yapılarının ve kullanıcıların birbiri üzerindeki etkilerinin Mimar Sinan Güzel Sanatlar Üniversitesi Merkez Binası ölçeğinden ayrılarak bu günü ve geleceğine yönelik öngörüler ve öneriler yapılmıştır.

Space identity and user identity affect each other with many factors.On the other hand; Educational spaces,are the places where this interaction is predominantly observed thanks to the role of the individual in self-existence. In this study, the effects of individual existence on the existence of place and the effects of spatial existence on the existence of the individual are examined. For this purpose, in the first chapter, the aim and scope of the study are determined and the limits to be studied are drawn.The method to be followed in the formation process of the text of the work is presented again through this section. In the second part where the key concepts and meanings are explained, the concepts of space and identity are examined within the framework of different disciplines. Educational sites and historical process of these spaces, which are the main characters of the study, are also defined. In the third part, the factors that affect the user identity and educational places are examined. In this context, the types of identity, spatial perception and the effect of education spaces in the process of self-creation have been discussed comparatively. In the fourth section, Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University Central Building is examined in the light of the definitions and analyzes given in the previous sections. In the results section after the investigation; the effects of educational structures and users on each other were separated from the scale of Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University Central Building and predictions and suggestions were made for the future of this day.
