Özet
ÖZET Bu araştırma ile“İlköğretim I. Kademe Sosyal Bilgiler Ders Programlarının Değerlendirilmesi”yapılmaya çalışılmıştır. Araştırmada genel olarak; -İlköğretim I. kademe'de sosyal bilgiler ders programlarının temel öğeleri açısından (amaç, içerik, öğretim yöntemleri, ders araç ve gereçleri, süre, değerlendirme) mevcut durum ne düzeydedir? -Uygulanan programdaki yetersizlikler ve problemler nelerdir? -Uygulanan programda belirlenen amaçlara ulaşmak için ne gibi önlemler alınabilir? vb. sorulara yanıt aranmaya çalışılmıştır. Araştırmaya veri toplamak amacıyla, İstanbul Valiliğine müracaat edilerek araştırmanın yapıldığı 1995-1996 öğretim yılına ait evreni oluşturan öğretmen sayılan tespit edilmiştir. Ancak evrenin geniş olması tamamının alınmasını imkansız kıldığından örneklem alma yoluna gidilmiştir. Gaziosmanpaşa ilçesinden, şans yöntemi ile seçilmiş 10 okul örneklemi oluşturmuştur. Araştırma betimsel nitelikte olup, veriler anket yoluyla toplanmıştır. Elde edilen bulgular yüzde ve frekanslar kullanılarak tablolar yardımıyla sergilemiş ve yorumları yapılmıştır. Araştırma beş bölümden oluşmaktadır. I. Bölüm'de“Problem Durumu”belirlenmiş, II Bölüm'de“İlköğretimde Sosyal Bilgiler Öğretiminin Tarihsel Gelişimi”ve“İlköğretim Okullarında Sosyal Bilgiler Öğretimine”yer vermiştir. III. Bölümde“Araştırmanın yöntemi”, IV. Bölümde“Bulgular ve Yorumlar”ortaya konulmuştur. V. Bölümde ise“Sonuçlar ve Öneriler”bulunmaktadır. üAraştırma sonunda ilköğretim okullarında okutulmakta olan Sosyal Bilgiler Ders Programının ihtiyaçlarla yeterince uygunluk göstermediği sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Yeni anlayış ve yaklaşımlara uygun olarak program geliştirme ilkeleri doğrultusunda yeniden düzenlenmesi gereği ortaya çıkmış ve bir takım önerilerde bulunulmuştur. iü

ABSTRACT By making this survey, The evaluation of course programmes of Social Knowledges of the first step of elemantary education has been tried to make. In general The survey contained theree important parts; 1) What is the available situation as the basic parts of the course programmes of Social Knowledges, aim, content, the met heds ofheaching, subject matters, time, evaluation? 2) What are the ihefficlencies and problems in the programme applied?, and. 3) What king of precautions can be taken to achieve the determined aimsin the programme applied? Whith the purpose of collecting data for the surwey, having been applied to the Istanbul Goversnor ship the mumbers of the teachers forming the set belonging to the tiaching year of 1995-1996 when the survey was made have been detected but the methad of taking the sample has been gaplied because the set being wide prevanted all the elemants to be taken. Ten school samples have been formed by choosing with randomised method from the district of Gaziosmanpaşa. The survey has descriptive properties and the data have been collected by questionnaire. The findings obtained have been represented in tables by using percentages and frequaciies and their in to pretations have been made. The survey consists of five parts. In the first part,“Problem Situation”has been determined. In the second part,“Historical development of the teaching of Social Knewledges in elemantary education ”and“ The teaching of Social Krewledges Melematary Schools”have been studied. In the third part, The method of the suruey“, in the fourth part,”the The fiveth and interpretations“ and the last part, ”Results and Suggestions" have been considved. At the end of the suvey, the result mahich it has been decided that the course programmes of school lenau kdges studied in the schools of elemantry education can not cover the needs and suit with the needs of the community has been neached. The recessity of regulating the system by making the new prihciples of developing programme fitting with the new approacher and under standings has come tolight and some solutions have been suggested.
