ABSTRACT The communication between the teacher and the student is one of many effective factors to reach the expected aim in education activity. Students and teachers are together in most of their daily duties. Because of this such problems in classroom communication, classroom will effect the results, expected from student-teacher communication, negatively. We can show these deficiencies as a communication difficulty. The aim of this research is to identify the verbal communication problems during the learning-teaching period by giving the pupil's view. In order to reach this aim: 1) What are the student's verbal communication problems in learning-teaching period? 2) What is the degree of student's verbal communication problems in learning- teaching period? 3) What are the differences (if there is/are any) about their age level, sex, education level, the school types, parents' education level? Research-scanning model was made and by the improved“Verbal Communication Problem Scale”402 students were asked to answer an inquiry. The results were evaluated as frequency (f), percentage (%), t-test (t) and variations (F). At the end of the research, 34“students' verbal communication problems”were found. Among these problems; 1 (one) is“sometimes”, 24 (twenty-four) is“rarely”, 9 (nine) is“never”observed. The most important source of the“students verbal communication problems”is the teacher's behaviour. As a result, verbal communication problems don't differ according to sex and age level, but primary school students have more difficulty than lycee students. Students attending to public schools have more difficulty than students attending in private schools. Lastly, we can say that the education level of the mother and father effects the student's behaviour.
