ABSTRACT This thesis has two chapter. The Purpase of this dissertation is to bring in to focus Süleyman Nahifi's Mawlid. Mawlid means“Birth, and Birthday”. Poets which written for Prophet Muhammed (P.U.H) to tell his birth life, deeds, behaviour also called“Mawlid”In the first chapter we tried to explain Süleyman Nahifi's life and works. In Addition to personal knowledge of his, we gave Süleyman Nahifi's literaty dimension. In the Second Chapter, We dealt with critical text of his Mawlid. Editional critigue follawed this. There were five hardwriting of this Maw lid, Our work was according to text copy of University of Istanbul, number 3219. We selected this text being clerar, and closer to the our poet. Finally we cited, that, Amory Sixty three Mawlid Which took place in islamic literature, Süleyman Nahifi's Mawlid is one of the less know in spite of this Nahifi's Mawlid has it's own origionaliti.es, for example it is one of the rare Mawlid reserved to tell Prophet's birth. 243
