Murabıtun State During the Reign of Yusuf B. Tashfin By : Müşerref Ekinci Advisor : Asoc. Prof. Dr. Mehmet özdemir After the goal importance and method of the thesis, in the introduction chapter the history of Maghrib up until establishment of Murabıtun state is dealt ûith. In the first chapter the subject that are dealtwith are as folloûs: The establishment of Murabitun state, the Murabıtun movement, the life of its founder and his earlier actiuities, his life in Ribat the formation of Murabitun movement and the essencial principles of teachings of Abdullah b. Yasin are studied in detail. In the same chapter under the heading of the military activities of Murabitun, the concuerts that had taken place, togetherwith the coming to the fore of Yusuf b. Tashin are dealtwith. In the second chapter of the study, the political developments during the reign of Yusuf b. Tashfin including Maghrib and Andalus concuerts are studied. In the same chapter under the cultural and civiliaised life, The organisation of the State, the establishment of the city of Marrakush, and the scholarly and cultural life and the influence of Andolusia are studied.
