Özet
Bu çalışmada Tanzimat‟tan Cumhuriyet‟e Osmanlı Eğitimi genel hatlarıyla ele alınmış ve ardından Edirne Vilayeti‟ne bağlı Tekfurdağı Sancağı‟nın eğitim kurumlarının yenileşme dönemindeki yansımaları ortaya konulmuştur. Osmanlı Devleti özellikle 1869 Maârif-i Umumiye Nizamnamesi ile eğitim alanında gelişme ve yenileşmeye bağlamıştır. Ülke genelinde mekteplerde uygulamaya geçirilen düzenlemeler Tekfurdağı Sancağı‟na da yansımıştır. Tekfurdağı Sancağı‟ndaki ibtidai, sıbyan, rüşdiye, idadi ve gayrimüslim mektepleri isim, sayı, öğretmen, öğrenci, verilen dersler, inşa ve mesarifat gibi konularda ayrıca tespit edilmeye çalışılmıştır. Tanzimat Fermanı‟ndan 20. yüzyıl başına kadar gerçekleştirilen yenilikler ve bunların sancağa yansımaları belgelerden elde edilen bilgiler ışığında sunulmuştur. Çalışmanın Osmanlı eğitim tarihine ve şehir tarihine katkı sağlaması amaçlanmıştır.

In this study, Ottoman education from Tanzimat to Republic was discussed in general terms. Then the reflections of the educational institutions of Tekfurdağı Sanjal of Edirne Province in modernization period were revealed. The Ottoman Empire started to develop and renew in the field of education especially with the 1869 Maarif-i Umumiye Regulations. The regulations implemented in schools throughout the country were also reflected in the Sanjak of Tekfurdağı. In the Tekfurdağı Sanjak, ibtidai, sıbyan, rüĢdiye, idadi and non-Muslim schools were tried to be determined separately on the subjects such as names, numbers, teachers, students, lectures, construction. The innovations from the Tanzimat to the beginning of the 20th century and their reflections on the starboard are presented in the light of the information obtained from the documents. The aim of the study is to contribute to the history of Ottoman education and city history
