Özet
Öğrencilerin öğrenmesinde temel kaynak olarak görülen ders kitaplarının birçok açıdan eksik olduğu ve öğrencilerde kavram yanılgılarına neden olduğu çeşitli araştırmacılar tarafından ortaya konulmuştur. Bu çalışmanın amacı, 10. Sınıf biyoloji ders kitabında yer alan“Ekosistem Ekolojisi ve Güncel Çevre Sorunları”ünitesinde kullanılan görsellere ait öğretmen görüşlerinin belirlenmesidir. Bu araştırmada, öğretmenlerin görseller hakkındaki görüşlerini belirlemeyi amaçladığından betimsel tarama modelinde ilişkisel tarama yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Araştırma Milli Eğitim Bakanlığı'na bağlı devlet okullarında çalışmakta olan 20 biyoloji öğretmeni ile yapılmıştır. Biyoloji ders kitabı görsel değerlendirme anketinde yer alacak maddeleri belirlemek için 10 öğretmene iki sorudan oluşan bir anket uygulanmıştır. Anketten elde edilen sonuçlar, uzman görüşleri ve ilgili literatür ışığında biyoloji ders kitabı görsel değerlendirme ölçeği hazırlanmıştır. Belirtilen üniteden uzman görüşü alınarak 10 adet görsel seçilmiştir. Hazırlanan anket doğrultusunda görseller öğretmenler tarafından değerlendirilmiştir. Her bir öğretmene kodlar verilmiştir. Elde edilen veriler betimsel olarak çözümlenip frekans olarak ifade edilmiştir. Sonuç olarak, söz konusu görseller öğretmenler tarafından değerlendirildiğinde genel anlamda yeterli düzeyde bulunmuş olup bir takım eksiklikler saptanmıştır.

It has been demonstrated by various researchers that the textbooks, which are seen as the main source of students' learning, are incomplete in many respects and cause misconceptions in students. The aim of this study is to determine the views of teachers about the“Ecosystem Ecology and Current Environmental Problems ”unit images in the 10th grade biology textbook. In this study relational scanning method was used in this descriptive scanning model to determine the view of the teachers about the images. The study was conducted with 20 biology teachers working in public schools affiliated to the Ministry of Education. The survey about the image evaluation in the biology textbook was applied to the teachers to specify the clauses. , According to the view of experts and the related literature flare a“biology textbook image evaluation”scale was prepared in accordance with the results of the survey. 10 images were selected from the specified unit according to experts. Codes were given to each teacher. The data were analyzed descriptively and expressed as frequency. As a result the mentioned images were evaluated by the teachers and according to them the images were generally suffiecent but slightly deficient.
