Özet
Bu çalışmada 6. sınıf öğrencilerine Türkçe derslerinde kazandırılması amaçlanan okuma becerileri ve bu öğrencilerde bulunan okuma tutumuna Zihin Haritalama Tekniği'nin etkisi olup olmadığını incelemek amaçlanmıştır. Bu çalışma Deneysel Araştırma yaklaşımı kullanılarak gerçekleştirilmiştir. Çalışma üç temel aşamadan oluşmuştur. İlk aşamada deneklere öntestler uygulanarak araştırma öncesi giriş becerileri tespit edilmiştir. İkinci aşamada uygulama yapılmış. Son aşamada da sontest uygulanarak araştırmanın etkileri incelenmiştir. Uygulama sonucunda elde edilen verilere göre öğrencilerin okuma becerilerine mevcut öğretim yönteminin ve zihin haritalama tekniğinin olumlu katkılar sağladığı görülmüştür. Araştırmadan elde edilen diğer sonuca göre zihin haritalama tekniği ve mevcut öğretim yöntemi yöntem okuma tutumunu olumlu yönde etkilemiştir. Uygulama esnasında gözlemlenen davranışlar bakımından deney grubunda sürece etkin katılım oranı daha fazla olmuş ve sınıf içi istenmeyen durumların yaşanma sıklığının azaldığı gözlenmiştir. Deney ve kontrol gruplarının öntest ve sontestlerine baktığımızda genel bir artış görülmektedir. Ancak zihin haritalama tekniğinin kullanıldığı deney grubunda artan başarı oranını kontrol grubundaki başarı oranından daha yüksektir. Zihin haritalama tekniği okuma becerilerini, okuma tutumunu ve ders esnasında sergilenen davranışları olumlu yönde etkilemektedir.

In this study it was aimed to examine the reading skills of 6th grade students in Turkish Courses and to determine whether Mind Mapping Technique had an effect on the attitudes towards reading. This study was carried out by using Experimental Research design. This study comprises of three basic parts. In the first stage, pre-research input skills were determined by applying the coverings to the subjects. In the second stage, the application was performed and the effects of the research were examined by applying the post-test in the final stage. As a result of the study it was seen that the current teaching method of teaching applied to students' reading skills and Mind Mapping Technique contributed to the contribution of the students. According to the other result obtained from the research, the Mapping Technique and the current teaching method effected the attitude of technique reading positively. In terms of the behaviours observed during the application, it was observed that the rate of participation in the process was higher in the experimental group and it was also observed that frequency of undesired events in the classroom declined. When we look at the pre-test and post-test of the experimental and control groups,we see a general increase. However, in the experimental group in which Mind Mapping Technique was used, the increase in success rate was higher than the success rate in the control group. The Mind Mapping Technique affected reading skills, reading attitudes and behaviours exhibited during the course positively.
