Özet
Amaç: Bu araştırmanın amacı Fen bilimleri öğretmenlerinin eğitimde teknoloji kullanımına yönelik tutumlarını farklı değişkenler açısından belirlemektir. Yöntem: Araştırmanın modeli konuya ve amaca uygunluğu nedeniyle betimsel araştırmalardan tarama modelidir. Çalışma, ortaokul Fen bilimleri öğretmenlerinin eğitimde teknoloji kullanımına ilişkin teknoloji tutumlarının cinsiyet, eğitim durumu, mesleki kıdem, okul türü, teknolojiyi sınıfta kullanma ihtiyacı ve sınıfında bilgisayar bulunma durumu değişkenlerine göre belirlenmesi yönüyle betimsel bir çalışmadır. Araştırmanın evrenini, Ankara ilindeki tüm özel ve devlet okullarında görev yapan Fen bilimleri öğretmenleri, araştırmanın örneklemini ise Ankara ilinde özel ve devlet okullarında görev yapan 291 Fen bilimleri öğretmeni oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmanın örneklemi evrenden rastgele seçilmiştir. Bulgular: Araştırmada elde edilen verilerin karşılaştırılmasında; yüzde (%) , frekans (f), bağımsız örneklem t-testi, tek yönlü varyans analizi (ANOVA) kullanılmıştır. Çalışmada elde edilen bulguların değerlendirilmesinde anlamlılık düzeyi 0.05 olarak belirlenmiş ve istatistiksel analizlerini yapmak için SPSS programından faydalanılmıştır. Bulgular öğretmenlerin eğitimde teknoloji kullanımına yönelik tutumlarının yüksek olduğunu göstermektedir. Sonuç: Eğitimde teknoloji kullanımına yönelik tutum; cinsiyet, mesleki kıdem ve eğitim durumuna göre anlamlı bir farklılık göstermemektedir. Ancak okul türüne göre tüm boyutlarda anlamlı farklılık görülmektedir. Elde edilen sonuçlar yapılan çalışmalarla benzerlik göstermektedir.

Purpose: The purpose of this research is to determine the attitudes of science teachers towards use of technology in education with regards to different types of variables. Method: The model of the research is descriptive survey model by virtue of it convenience with the subject and the purpose . The study is a descriptive research with the aspect of determining the technology attitude of the secondary school science teachers concerning the utilization of technology in education according to the factors of gender, education level, occupational seniority, school type, the need of using the technology in the classroom and the presence of a computer in their classrooms. The research population consists of science teachers performing duty in all state and private schools in Ankara province and the sample of the research consists of 291 science teachers performing duty in state and private schools in Ankara province. The sample of the research has been selected randomly from the population. Findings: For the comparison between the data obtained in the research, percentage (%), frequency (f), independent sample t-test and one-way variance analysis (ANOVA) have been used. For the evaluation of the data obtained in the study, the significance level has been determined to be 0.05 and for carrying out the statistical analysis the SPSS program has been used. The findings indicate that the teachers have attitude at high level towards utilization of technology in education. Result: The attitude towards utilization of technology in education does not contain a significant divergence according to gender, occupational seniority and education level. Yet, according to the school type, in all dimensions divergence is observed. The results obtained indicate similarity with the studies carried out.
