Özet
Sanat ve kültürün kaynaklık ettiği görsel sanat eğitimi, alanının teorik altyapısı ve uygulama sürecini; öğrencilerin kişisel, sosyal ve kültürel gelişimlerini sağlamak amacıyla düzeye uygun içeriklerle sunmayı amaçlamaktadır. Tez araştırmasında görsel sanatlar dersinin içeriği, planlanması ve uygulanması sürecinde görsel sanatlar öğretmenlerinin ihtiyaçlarının belirlenmesi ve elde edilen verilerden yola çıkarak mesleki gelişim modülü geliştirilmesi amaçlanmaktadır. Araştırmada, temel nitel araştırma deseni kullanılarak ortaokul görsel sanatlar dersinin öğrenme-öğretme sürecinin çözümlenmesine ve yorumlanmasına odaklanılmıştır. Çalışma grubunu Ankara ve Bursa illerinden belirlenen 10 ortaokulda görev yapan görsel sanatlar öğretmeni oluşturmaktadır. Verilerinin toplanmasında doküman incelemesi, gözlem ve görüşme yöntemleri kullanılmıştır. Gözlem ve görüşme verileri çözümlenmiş ve içerik analizi aşamaları kullanılarak araştırmaya yönelik kavramlara ulaşılmıştır. Araştırma problemine yönelik olarak oluşturulan alt amaçlara göre araştırma süreci tasarlanmıştır. (1) Görsel sanatlar öğretim programlarının (2006, 2013, 2018) amaçlar, kazanım ve ölçme değerlendirme yaklaşımları incelenmiştir. (2) Mevcut durumun belirlenmesine yönelik olarak gözlem sonuçları elde edilmiştir. (3) Öğretmenlerin derse ilişkin algıları ve ihtiyaçları görüşmelerle belirlenmiştir. Elde edilen bulgularla, mevcut durumun belirlenmesinde ihtiyaçların neler olduğunu ortaya konulmuştur. İhtiyaçlara yönelik olarak yapılan alanyazın (literatür) taramasında güncel sanat ve sanat eğitimi yaklaşımları araştırılmıştır. Hazırlanan modül önerisinde; sanat bilincini geliştiren, toplumsal kültür, çağdaş sanat ve postmodern anlayışı, eğitimsel çerçevede ele alan içerikler tasarlanmıştır. Modül önerisinde, farklı öğretim yöntem ve tekniklerinin kullanılması, öğrencinin bireysel ya da grup çalışmasıyla fikir üretmesi ve geliştirmesi sürecine önem verilmiştir. Dersin sonucunda bir ürün oluşturulması yerine öğrencinin üst düzey düşünme becerini geliştirme, işbirliği kurabilmesini sağlama, çevresi ile ilişki kurabileceği anlamlı öğrenmeyi destekleme süreçlerine odaklanılmıştır.

Education of visual arts, of which arts and culture stands as the source, focuses on the stagewise appropriation of its theoretical basis and application processes through the curriculums aiming the personal, social and cultural developments of the pupils. In this study, it is aimed for the construction of an occupational improvement module, which has sought to succeed the acquisition estimations through modernization of the material to be practiced on the visual arts courses at the intermediate schools. During the research, it is focused on the interpretation and deconstruction of the teaching-learning processes of the visual arts course in intermediate schools by the use of basic qualitative surveying pattern. The workgroup has comprised of the previously selected teachers of the visual arts, who had active duty in ten different schools from Ankara and Bursa. Gathering up the general feedback, data analysis, observation and interview methods were taken in use. Observation and interview data were analyzed and the concepts related to research were reached by using the content analysis stages. The research process was designed according to the sub-objectives of the research problem. (1) The objectives, acquisition, and measurement evaluation approaches of visual arts education programs (2006, 2013, 2018) were examined. (2) Observation results have been obtained to determine the current situation. (3) Teachers' perceptions and needs related to the course were determined by interviews. As a result of the findings obtained, contemporary art and arts education approaches were investigated during the revision of the technical literature in regard to the expectations. In the module suggestion; content that is enhancing consciousness for the arts, discussing upon social culture, contemporary art, and postmodern understanding, has been developed within the educational framework. In the module suggestion, the use of different teaching methods and techniques, the development of innovative ideas of the students within individual or working groups, are given importance. During the implementation of the course, instead of the industrious-productive duties, the improvement of the high-level thinking skills and experiencing analytical thinking practices on the daily basis activities of the students are prioritized as the focus point.
