Özet
Bu çalışma çerçevesinde, Bourdieu'nün kavramsallaştırdığı ekonomik sermaye, sosyal sermaye ve kültürel sermayenin işletme mezunlarının istihdamı üzerindeki rolü araştırılmıştır. Çalışmada önce literatür taraması yapılmış, istihdam ve istihdam edilebilirlik kavramları ele alınmış, bu kavramların eğitim ve sermaye ile ilişkisine yönelik literatür özeti hazırlanmıştır. Sonrasında ise, Bourdieu'nün sermaye türleri ile bu sermaye türlerinin istihdam ile ilişkisine yönelik bilgiler sunulmuştur. Çalışma kapsamında mülakat yöntemi kullanılmış ve 15 işletme bölümü mezunu ile sermaye türleri ve istihdam ilişkisi üzerine mülakatlar gerçekleştirilmiştir. 12 sorudan oluşan mülakat formu, Bourdieu'nün kavramsallaştırması temelinde oluşturulmuştur. Elde edilen verilerin analizinde içerik analizi tekniğinden faydalanılmıştır. Elde edilen bulgulara göre, bir işte çalışan katılımcıların istihdamları üzerinde kültürel ve sosyal sermayelerinin etkili olduğu, işsiz olanların iş bulamamaları üzerinde ise sırasıyla azalan ağırlıkta sosyal, kültürel ve finansal sermayenin rolü bulunduğu tespit edilmiştir.

Within the scope of this study, following the conceptualization of Bourdieu, the role of economic capital, social capital and cultural capital on employment of business administration bachelors was discussed. In this respect, firstly literature review was conducted on employment and employability concepts, and literature summary about the relations of these concepts with education and capital was completed. Then, information about Bourdieu's capital types and their relations with employment was presented. Interview method was used in this study, and interviews were conducted with 15 business administration graduates on the relation between capital types and employment. Interview form consisting of 12 questions was constructed on the basis of Bourdieu's conceptualization. In the analysis of the gathered data, content analysis technique was used. According to the findings, it was determined that cultural capital and social capital have role on employment of participants working in a company, and with decreasing importance social capital, cultural capital and financial capital have role on unemployment.
